This scooter is very fast. I wasn’t expecting it to be as fast as it is. It is very convenient to take places the way it folds up so easily and how light weight it is. I love the appearance of this scooter it is very stylish looking. The battery lasts a very long time. It is built durable and of quality. It was super easy to put together. Learning to use it was really easy. I really like the digital speed odometer. The light on the front of makes it convenient to ride it at night. The hand brake makes it safe to ride anytime as well. I really enjoy riding this scooter. My boyfriend and 14 year old daughter are very impressed with it as well. Very much recommend this product to anyone. I bought this for my daughter who is about to turn 13. I had purchased a Segway ninebot, but it was small and not fast enough, so that will be for me younger daughter. I was impressed by the build quality of the valpom scooter. It was easy to assemble. It took me a second to find where the charger plugs in. I like that this scooter supports a lot of weight and it's quite fast, so she'll be able to grow into it. I love the digital read out, which shows the battery level, the driving mode, and the miles per hour. It's easy to change driving modes. The scooter has great torque and power, and the brakes work well. I like that there are reflective lights and a brake light for safety. I am very pleased with the quality and capability of this scooter, so much so that I purchased the version with shock absorbers for myself! I recently got my Volpam SP05 electric scooter, and I couldn't be happier! Right out of the box, it was easy to assemble and had a sleek, modern design. The build quality feels solid, and the deck is spacious and sturdy. Performance:The scooter delivers a smooth and comfortable ride with great acceleration. It handles inclines well and maintains a steady speed on flat roads. The braking system is responsive, ensuring safety even at higher speeds. Battery Life: I was impressed with how long the battery lasts on a single charge. It covers a decent range, making it perfect for commuting or casual rides around town. I recently got the VOLPAM electric scooter, and it has been a great purchase. It’s powerful enough to get me around the city easily, and the speed is just right for commuting. The battery life is impressive, and I can ride for a long time without worrying about charging. The solid tires make the ride smooth, and I don’t have to deal with flats, which is a huge plus. The cruise control is a nice touch, and the app makes it easy to check the battery and adjust settings. For the price, I think this scooter is a great deal. It’s sturdy, reliable, and fun to ride. The scooter, hands down 5 stars it is responsive has great distance, easy to handle, has good speed, easy to fold up. Had built in front light and tail light, the tail light blinks when breaking. This isn't a negative but more of an FYI when charging, you must let it complete its cycle the first charge is 6 hours, the charges after that are around 5 hours, regardless of how much battery is left. This really deserved to be a 5 star scooter, but the app, it's so bad. It disconnects frequently, it only logs the accumulated distance in kilometers, it can not be change to miles. The "dashboard" does not match the desired power output on the scooter (example: when cycling through on the scooter it goes Eco, Drive/comfort, sport in the app it matches drive/ comfort [on the scooter] with sport[app]). When using the "dashboard" it sucks up your data like a milkshake. The "map" that is in the app is in "developer mode" and is really just a gimmick. I have emailed the company about all of these issues, but there appears to be a communication issue. They asked if I would like to send back the scooter, no the scooter is amazing, the app is hot garbage and needs a lot of work, this app really gives off beta testing vibes. The only reason it was knocked down one star, is because of the app. I almost went down 2 stars because of the app/ tech support. The good news is you do not need the app for the scooter to work. If you only care about point A to point B then this is an excellent pick, for less than 18 miles for commuting (one way) at an 8 hour work place this week do the job for you. 18 miles is the range I get, I am also 200lbs(91kg) and this was me traveling at 11mph on a path that has uphill and downhill portions on the route. All I want for improvement is for the app to function well, I am very happy with the scooter and hope this review helps people with their decision. ... show more
