This is an awesome little bike. It’s quiet and smooth, super comfortable to ride. It has rear suspension and some on the seat for even more comfort. The seat is super soft and firm. It has a lot of space to comfortably set your feet on in the bottom and two baskets that allow you to carry things like snacks or some small bags. It has super bright head and tail lights, including an impressive brake light. You can see pretty far down the road with the headlight and be seen from far away with the taillight. The brakes work great too, very responsive. The bike accelerates quickly and feels strong, doesn’t have any problem pulling someone 150LBS. It comes with an optional child seat with handlebars for small kids if you want to take them along. It also has great security features, including the fact that the bike can’t power on without the key, decreasing the chances of being stolen. Battery compartment is also lockable to prevent battery being stolen and for easy removal of battery in case you want to further ensure security. Furthermore, this bike is very compact when folded, allowing for it to be carried on a small car for convenience. This bike fits perfectly into a small sedan trunk once folded. The battery range is great too, capable of reaching around 20 miles on a full charge! Overall, this is a great and very sturdy bike. I had been looking at e-bikes and e-scooters for a while, but somehow never came across this little gem. As soon as I saw it, I didn't waste much time before buying it. The Soumye S-162 is on some youtube videos as one of the top 5 scooters. I'm a big guy, and when I saw this could carry up to 300 pounds, I knew I had to have it. I'm in the high 200s, so figure I can have a few more burgers and it will still carry me. Assembly was fast and easy, Soumye has a great assembly video, and I had it together in under 20 minutes. The battery was charged enough to take it out for a spin. It felt comfortable and was easy to control. I climbed a bridge that goes over the train tracks that has 3 switchbacks. It's fairly steep and the scooter handled it well. I did help a little with my leg pushing like you'd ride a skateboard, and it climbed the bridge easily. The lights are very bright, and the horn is pretty loud. My short ride wasn't enough to test the battery much, but the charge indicator didn't drop any bars at all. I was pretty shocked that it said a week or so for delivery, but then received a notice from FedEx that it would arrive the next day! Granted, I'm fairly close to a distribution point, but still, 1 day delivery is awesome. I'm very happy with the scooter, and look forward to not having to spend money on gas! ... show more

This ebike came "Mostly" assembled. One of the first things in the instructions were that YOU are not allowed to put it together. It says you need to take it to a professional bike shop to put it together. I've got experience and an engineering degree. I do agree with the instructions that you should have a pro put it together if you don't know how to use basic tools or follow instructions. I put it together in under an hour. A person without experience would easily take about 3-4 hours if at all. All in all, the package came pretty okay. Some pieces were bent. So I had to unbend them in such a way that the parts would fit. The tires also came mostly flat, for what I'm assuming shipping. So make sure you have a good tire pump Also, I didn't install the middle saddle at all as there's no way I'm riding anyone on this thing. It's stable for the most part, but that thing would barely fit a tiny child. All in all, I can go up to about 25 mph max. There's a cut-off on it that the moment you hit 25 mph that it stops giving you juice. I'd love to be able to bypass that, but I don't want to mess with the warranty. Pros: Strong, easy hills. Fast, 25mph when you need it. Long-lasting, 504 watt charge will have you riding for hours and hours. Care. It comes with a lot of nice tools AND a paint touch up kit. Cons: The extra small saddle in the middle is wasted space The seat is uncomfortable. Shipping. They bent the hell out of it. (not the fault of the seller, but make sure to check all the parts are sound before putting it together. Not easily modded as all the juicy parts are behind a warranty sticker All in all, this is one of the best ebikes I've tried both IRL and off the internet. Finally, please don't let the cons dissuade you. I'm slightly nitpicking here in most of those. ... show more

Ive only had it for a couple days so this is only a first impression. I got this for me and my 3 year old daughter and its been awesome, Im 5'8 150lbs and it fits me and my child comfortably. It was easy to assemble, the hardest part is the zip ties and getting rid of the big box it came in. They give you all the tools to get the assembly completed. Its rides smooth and accelerates pretty good. As far as battery goes it seems to last a bit, but hard to say how it last on long distances since I haven't really tested it on that yet. But if the battery life and milage come close to the stated numbers, this is an awesome. bike/scooter. ... show more

Solid scooter. Still breaking it in before using it for commuting to my work. About 2 miles around my neighborhood, the back tire started making a grinding noise like a stick on a fence. I oiled the bushings and left an email message to the seller. Waiting to hear back. I have also attached mirrors to see traffic behind me. I have ordered turn signals too as I cannot let go of the handlebar to gesture my direction. The handlebar is very small and I don't know how I will attach the signal controls. I want to also add a cellphone attachment. I think it is a keeper once I have customized it to my liking and the back tire stops making noise. ... show more
