The directions said to leave it on natural hair for 30 mins, but since my hair is pretty porous, i did less so that the color wouldnt get any lighter. Due to the lighting you can’t really see the color. However it came out as expected cinnamon brown. I like it and so does my husband. Then main thing is...it covered my grey! I’d recommend it.

This is the only haircolor that will lift my dark brown hair to blonde with one step. I am of German descent but no blonde hair. Well, not without my Softsheen Carson! I will never purchase another brand. The key is to leave it on double time. Yes, that means an hour. Been doing this method for years and my hair is not thick and strong. It’s covering most grey at least! Even though it’s not giving me the color as shown from the box. However the box arrived damaged. But didn’t affect the mixtures so I didn’t want to return. Other hair products that claims cover grey never did but this one covers most. Maybe I should let it sit longer to achieve the full grey coverage but didn’t want to take the chance and damage my hair! ... show more

I used this product to dye my locs (you may know them as dreadlocs, but I call them locs because there's nothing dreadful about them). Anyway, my box came sealed. When I opened it there was instructions (the gloves are included as well but they are on the opposite side of the instruction paper), conditioner, the developer and hair color. I opened the developer, added the hair color inside the bottle and gave it a little shake. After that i applied it to my hair. I let it sit for about 15 minutes and then washed it out. The color was accurate. My locs are now jet black and I love it. My hair feels very soft and moisturized. I've use cream of nature dye and it left my hair dry and brittle.
