There aren't a lot of permanent vibrant colored hair dyes out there. I have had good experience with this brand. I have really dark brown hair, so I decided to bleach it a couple of times before applying this. The pictures show what it looks like shortly after dyeing and several weeks later. At first, it's fuchsia-red. Then, it fades to pink. I personally like the faded pink color better. Love this hair dye i use it all the time I would definitely recommend it. I know its considered bad for your hair and everyone tells me not to use it but I’ve never had an issue with the product and it’s always exactly what it should be/ comes out as the advertised product. I understand there are “better” hair dye options but in my opinion all hair dye damages hair at the end of the day. I used one box of Sakura Bloom on my thick, short hair. Based on the color, I assumed this would be a creme dye, but it is a typical box dye that you mix with developer. Compared to other box dyes, this one leaves no odor in the hair, which I really appreciate. The color is pretty inconsistent, though. I expected it to be lighter on my highlights and darker on my lowlights, but it is actually more of a purple tone on my highlights and leans more towards red the darker my hair gets. I am obsessed with the brightness of this color. I have used box dye and have had my hair colored professionally many times. Never a bad reaction. There is something in this dye that is super strong because I washed my hair TWICE the same day I dyed it before going to bed because I didn’t want it to leak on my pillow case. I blow dryed it and went to bed. Even then, I woke up this morning coughing with sinus pain and a sore throat. I rarely get sick. It’s up to you to decide if the color is worth it.
