  • Smokey purple
Size: 4 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) Color: Smokey Purple
It's definitely a muted smokey purple as described. It's very pretty and was the color I was craving at the time. It is, however, less purple than you might like. Mostly you can see the purple when you are outside in the natural light. Indoor lights it looks like a muddy color almost brown. But if you're near a window you can see it. It's unique that's for sure. I can't say for how well it applies, bc my hair isn't in the best shape, so it only stuck to half, as you can see from pics (with and without flash and also wet here) but I did mix a shit ton of white conditioner to dilute it, so that and my porosity being wack might be that reason. Needless to say, I left it for a few days til it faded out and then put my go to purple over it, lie locks from manic panic. ( A gorgeous purple heavy on the blue side that fades nicely) Anyways, I liked this color. It was fun to play with and very unique from any other color on the market, so I give it 5 stars. ... show more

  • I love it. Lasting longer than I expected.
Size: 8 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) Color: Blood Moon
These photo are from 3 weeks after dying. I wanted to see how it faded. I am still liking it. I am a natural brunette. I had a balayage done in March that had red in it. It faded within a month. The salon told me I could come back to get another gloss for $125. (That's with NO cut or dry). Well off I went to amazon. I found this product and crossed my fingers. Sometimes my hair won't take color the first time around (even at the salon) so I bought back up. My hair is very thick and long (mid back). I only needed 1 bottle. It looks better in person than in the pictures. I dyed my hair April 26th. Today is May 19th and still holding. DISCLAIMER: use gloves to wash hair out and when you style it the first few times. Everything will be red (your brush, your hands, your straightener, your towel, your shower, pillow cases etc). ... show more

  • Juniper Green and Nightshade.
Size: 4 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) Color: Juniper Green
I am absolutely HEAD OVER HEELS for Juniper Green. I had two money pieces that turned a beautiful emerald color. My brown hair isn’t as rich (it wasn’t bleached so that’s obvi lol) but still a very pretty green! That said, I’m not the biggest fan of Nightshade. It ended up being more blue than purple. Which is my fault - I didn’t necessarily look at the other purples and did find one I should’ve gotten instead! This picture is after one wash. The green is holding on steady and doesn’t bleed. The purple bleeds EVERYWHERE and doesn’t stick to my hair, but that’s okay. I’ve decided to go completely green on the next round and will absolutely be buying this brand again. 🖤 ... show more

  • Will stain, but does its job.
Size: 4 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) Color: Blood Moon
I give this a 4 out of 5 because yes, my color result is similar to the photos (was hoping for a bit deeper red). And this product is better than the Ruby Red splat I used before. But like all vibrantly colored semi permanent hair dyes it WILL stain. Towels, clothes, unprotected skin, tubs, sinks etc… the color took the the lower portion of my hair better than my roots because naturally I’m a light auburn and the sun lightens my hair. My roots took the red but it’s hardly noticeable. It’s best to use this on lighter hair. Don’t expect miracles if you’re a brunette and it doesn’t take. It’s definitely my go to red for now though! :) ... show more

  • Wonderful product line
Size: 4 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) Color: Nightshade
1. This brand consistently delivers and does what it says on the tin. 2. If you're dying your hair at home and using highly pigmented dye and using a non-traditional color, you need to be extremely careful and aware of ways to remove the product from counter-tops/sinks tubs before your first go round or you will panic. Even after years of doing this, I inadvertently stain things. Even with gloves and an abundance of caution, I personally just have issues with getting dye on things. If you're like me, here's some help in advance. 1. Immediately rinse the area with cold water and get as much off as possible. 2. Nail polish remover can sometimes instantly remove stains from countertops and walls. It's literally magical and will save you from regret filled scrubbing. 3. Comet 4. Vinger. ... show more

  • Oh this is going to be controversial, sorry IA
Size: 4 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) Color: Aurora Green
Alright so, I am a quick shopper even online, I’ll check reviews and pictures and maybe check out a YouTube video to see a better view of the color. I however didn’t notice it was vegan, I tend to avoid vegan products because simply I have not found any that meet my expectations for what I need or expect. I understand if it’s a lifestyle/ethical choice, more power to you, live your truth: but me personally, this brand now added to the list along with arctic fox are thumbs down for me. Arctic fox bleeds non stop everywhere, seems to permanently dye anything but your hair, and washes out in about 3 washes. Now with this product Pros: -it did not stain my skin, that was cool -it’s pretty thick so I did not make any kind of mess apply it, again cool -if you want like a fun little change for about a week, this is perfect because it washes out quick. -it didn’t bleed onto my clothes or bedding, or skin when washing my hair But that’s where the pros end Cons: - I couldn’t grip the seal so I used a safety pin to help me get an end up, some of the product came out on the safety pin and I saw even though it was thick, for hair color it’s fairly translucent. Red flag if you are experienced in regularly dying your hair 😩 if you want a lighter version or very temporary color it would be ideal, but for vibrance and hang time NOPE. -just when I rinsed it out, COLD WATER, and used no shampoo I could tell it was going to wash out quick, and I was right, it lasted about 3 washes total, pretty much gone after the 2nd wash honestly. My hair is not over processed or anything that would contribute to loss of color at that rate. I even use baby shampoo since it’s no harsh chemicals and honestly has helped preserve my colors better than any “color saving” products on the market. Another thing I didn’t favor was it didn’t stick to my freshly bleached roots. Again experienced hair artists know that usually will be the brightest spot, as well as bleaching helping seal color in if you do it correctly in a time period. So PRETTY MUCH if you want something temporary, or you’re wanting to test drive a color but not ready to commit; this is perfect. However if you’re looking for something that is long lasting, this is not it. May be a basic bih but I’ve been doing this for 17 years and have tried dozens of dye products and ion color brilliance I personally don’t feel can be beat. Extremely vibrant color, very minimal bleeding/transfer after coloring and even that just depends on the color, you may not get any bleeding or transfer at all. It also lasts a long time, as well as fades evenly so you won’t have splotchy hair as it fades, you’ll just go through lighter shades of Itself. ... show more
