  • Cannot handle graphics demanding games that are included
Size: 256G/114000+Games
I'd give this a 3.5/5 but rounded it down because I cannot play most games and the controller wasn't as responsive. I purchased this to play some of my favorite games from when I was a kid. Gameboy, Super Nintendo, and N64 were my go-to systems. There are many similar emulators on the market, but I chose this because the specs seemed like it could handle all the games included in this system. The EmuLec system is really nice, especially on my 55in tv even if I'm playing so I was please about the added bonus of making the browsing screen look like a professional system instead of just a list of games available. However, here are my two biggest issues: 1) The CoreELEC.S905X3 Chip could not handle N64 games. When trying to render 3D graphics, it would lag so much it was pointless to play any of these games. Pokemon Stadium couldn't be played because the main menu options had glitches which could probably be resolved by downloading a new ROM. 2) The two bluetooth controllers are mediocre. It works, but I'm not sure if it's the bluetooth connection that makes it so laggy but I cannot play any games that require precision timing. It's not worth buying usb controllers to find out when I know it has other unresolvable issues. Ultimately, the only games I could play were things like Pokemon Ruby where it didn't require a lot of computing power and precise button timing but even that had a few things so it prevented me from reliving my childhood game experiences. I could easily have spent less than half this amount for an emulator if this is all I wanted. Hope they will put out a proper system that can handle N64 and Playstation without lag! ... show more

  • Worth it for those longing to play arcade games from the 80s and console games from the 90s.
Size: 256G/114000+Games
Obviously, most of the 114K games are duplicates. There are probably about 100 versions of Street Fighter 2 alone. I mainly bought this to play a handful of arcade games on which I wasted hundreds of dollars in quarters in the 80s and some SNES, Sega and PSX games I played in college. This console did not disappoint. It should be noted that the games appear a bit more pixilated than I remember, but that is likely because they were made for and played on old school CRT TVs, not the high def tvs we have today. The wireless controllers that come with the system work ok and fairly responsive although it takes some time to figure out button configuration for some games. Navigating through the games available on each platform can be daunting. The search feature helps find specific games quickly and I'm learning to use the sort feature to find new stuff to play. There is a built-in rating system for the games based on 1 to 5 stars, which--although subjective--is pretty accurate and a good way to sort the games worth playing from the trash. Some of the selected titles--mostly car racing games--do not load properly, but most that I tried work fine. The instructions are pretty thin and it took me a while to figure out that I need to press the "select" and "start" buttons simultaneously (twice) to quit a game and return to the main menu. I will probably play 100 of the games included in the console. Best thing is what is lacking in today's interactive games that my kid plays: the option to frigging pause. I've only played single player, but the console can accommodate at least 6 players for game that allow. There are tons of fighting games that I have not yet tried. So far, highlights include: EA Sports NHL 94 (SNES) Twisted Metal 2 (PSX--pretty much the reason I bought this console) Road Rash 3D (PSX) Time Pilot (Arcade) Simpsons (Arcade) Tetris (countless versions) Star Wars Trilogy (SNES) X-men (Arcade) Bad Dudes (Arcade--ok, this game is pretty weak, but it was more about being able to finish it). The portability, variety and fun game play make this little console more than worth it. ... show more

  • Old skool console
Size: 256G/100000+Games
Great product with a lot of old games. Set up is a little complicated and the compatibility to my tv is not great đź‘Ť. Other than that I'm happy with this product

  • Excellent plug and play retro system
This little box is very good solution for all of those who like me we are not very tech savvy. This is a real "plug and play", no need to mention what several others have pointed out about this type of retro consoles, this device has some many games and of so many different consoles that you will not be disappointed. I specifically bought for PC Engine and Turbograffx as well as Atomiswave. Just the price of 1 or 2 games would cover the cost of this little box, also Atomiswave was never released in the USA or at least not that I recall and be able to play those awesome games like Dolphin Blue is well worth it. I am very happy with my purchase, I just hope that the device and the SD card (I am planning on buying another SD to back-up "just in case" ) last for long time. ... show more

  • Walk down memory lane!
Size: 256G/100000+Games
This system is incredible. It took me a minute to figure out the controls. And I am still trying to figure out how to create favorites. The instructions are about as big as a matchbook. Not a lot of information to help. But we are figuring it out and having a blast doing so! I have already recommended it to many friends and family. ... show more

  • Controllers are not very good. Does not have every game/system I was hoping for
Size: 256G/100000+Games
MAME Gyrus was included and I love this game usually, but pressing fire button to quickly (the rate needed to clear all enemies in each wave ) causes the emulator to crash. Dr.Mario is included, but the best one from SNES has issues. Use of the favorites tool is spotty, and there are way too many roms in this to not find them once and add the ones you want to play into a favorites list. ... show more

  • Games galore.
Size: 256G/100000+Games
This is a good system where the games are in full force. Yes, you may have work to get some working but it works nice out of the box. The Arcade classics are in full force. Atari fans will find plenty to like here. The Atari 2600 library is impressive. The NES, Genesis and SNES has almost any game you can think of. Yes, there is a lot of repitition. ... show more
