Nice pressure washer. The regulator had to be disassembled and lubricated so that it would adjust properly but other than that it performs well. The cart is very well balanced making moving it easy. Add proper air pressure to the tires and stability is improved. The heavy duty hose is probably overkill and is very stiff.. The wand works good. Doing the job! Just had to change the thermal valve and the oil is hard to find!!! 15W-40 Update: I cant find the water pump oil 15w-40 super inconvenient also need a water pump vent cap which i cant find anywhere! Update: Stopped working after having it fixed under warranty. Kept losing pressure to the point where it just turns off. Had this machine for at least 4 months. Don't recommend. Its crazy i was happy at first lol ... show more

Update: Amazon gave me a prompt partial refund for the damaged fuel tank, enough to get repairs done, and since the pressure washer itself is amazing, my review is now changed to 5 stars. Bad packaging, fuel tank dented enough to crack the paint, seeking warranty support and will update to 5 stars if they fix the problem at no charge. Washer works beautifully, very impressive power, already used it for a client to strip off old mortar compound splattered and cured all over their porch bricks. YES, Easy starting if you know how to use a choke and engine throttle, and hold down the handle of the spray wand to take the pressure off the engine until it gets going, like you're supposed to folks, come on! Most of the bad reviews are for not knowing how to start the machine, which is silly since you don't buy a commercial grade machine if you don't have at least a basic understanding of how to use it. Bad stars for shipping are a very problem however. Please raise the price $20 or whatever and ship with some solid foam inserts to protect these machines from damage during shipping. ... show more

    • A Real Workhorse At A Great Price
First, let me say that I would give the PowerShot 4400 five stars if the operators manual was much better written. There is so much that the manual leaves out that left me fumbling trying to get this unit to work properly. Fortunately, I found some good videos on YouTube that explained the intricacies of setting up this unit and operating it. Once I had all the information I needed everything went well. I was spoiled because my current power washer is a Stihl which doesn't require squeezing the trigger on the wand, in order to be able to pull the recoil rope easily to get the unit to start on the first or second pull. If you don't squeeze the trigger while you're pulling the rope, there is too much back pressure created by the compression resistance inside the engine to get enough force to turn the engine over. All the videos I watched state that you must squeeze the trigger while pulling the rope to turn the engine over. Other than that, everything about this unit is extremely high quality. The only thing I am going to add to this pressure washer is a PSI gauge so that I can tone down the PSI for delicate jobs. The PSI gauge typically costs between $20 and $30 and with the quick connect feature should be very easy to install and remove. This unit is a beast and if you plan on lifting it, you better be a hefty man or woman. I'm about 160 pounds and in my 70s. This is not something that I ever want to have to lift into my truck. Even with the second person it's almost too heavy for me. So I would say if you're not that strong, and you want to be able to lift the unit occasionally, or with the help of a neighbor or friend, you might want to consider getting something a little bit lighter in weight. I have an aluminum ramp that I bought at Harbor Freight which is 84 feet long and it makes it easy to roll it up and down. I have seen power washers that are no better than the Simpson PS4400 that costs over $2300. I think spending the extra money is a complete waste, unless you are a very serious commercial professional that requires the absolute best. I personally don't see the benefit of spending the extra money. This system packs an awfully powerful punch for the money spent. I am very pleased. ... show more

This is a great tool - a decade of scummy mess (algae, pollen and mold) removed in a few hours. There are some drawbacks, but I really like this pressure washer. It is very strong and sturdy. Drawbacks: hose very stiff and difficult to maneuver - but beginning to loosen after a few uses. Engine can require lots of strength and pulls to start, even when holding trigger open of sprayer. Some cheap plastic parts - I expected the fuel tank to be metal, but it is plastic - same with fuel lid. Online warranty registration is a bit wonky. This is a heavy machine - engine and frame.
