I love this vacuum cleaner. It is simply the best. Better than all the rest. Better than any one. Any one I ever met. Seriously. I am on my 2nd one. The 1st one lasted 4 years and I am 2 years in on the 2nd one. I have 4 long-haired cats, so there is A LOT of fur in this house. This vacuum sucks it right up - along with the dirt and stuff in a regular house. I recommend cleaning the hair out of the rollers frequently. That is what finally sent my original one to the vacuum cleaner graveyard. I cut the hair out of the roller pretty frequently, but not frequently enough. Eventually the roller broke off of the unit. I'm cutting it out more often in my current one. Anyway, my sister borrows this vacuum whenever she has company coming over to her house. She vacuums with her vacuum and immediately follows up with this one. The cannister is always full when she finishes vacuuming with mine (this one). She has about 1000 sq ft to vacuum and she is a neat freak, so that tells you about this vacuum. The suction makes your carpet and rugs dirt free. The suction is so strong that when I vacuum my hardwood floors on the no carpet setting, my vacuum cleaner takes off across the floor without my guidance. I'm basically holding its beer while it does the work. :) I strongly recommend this vacuum cleaner. It is a great little sucker. :) ... show more

We have one hoover's best upright and canister vacs for years and swore by them.. but eventually due to aging, and ability to repair, it was time to look for new. I had already purchased a Severin canister vac that I love for low noise and portability... but the upright search was difficult. I came upon this Shark model and wasn't quite sure it would meet our needs. I compared so many others but finally decided on this based on reviews and features. I've never looked back. This lightweight machine is so versatile. The motor is powerful, it's not nearly as loud as other models we've owned and there are so many ways to use it. Whoever designed this thing was a genius or a team of geniuses. You can easily detach the motor and dust cup in one button push to use the wand to get under anything and reach a long way (such as under a king size bed). It's an easy snap to put it back without ever turning it off. You can detach the wand handle just as easily to attach a brush to vacuum upholstery or curtains and snap it back. The dust cup release is just as easy and emptying it is a breeze (and no leaks on the way to the trash can!). Easy adjustment from bare hard floors to door mats, floor rugs and wall-to-wall pile carpet. Very good lights on the front to help you see what you need to pick up (who knew there was so much hair and dust on the floor?). Truly a great machine... makes cleaning up a little less cumbersome. ... show more

We have 2 dogs and a cat. Was really having issues getting other vacuums to last including the last bissel we bought. This vacuum works really well and stalls the brush if something gets tangled up into it to prevent wrap around from happening. Really cleans the carpet well and shows what we weren’t getting before..which is a lot of pet hair. Makes steaming much easier to have a vacuum that picks up everything nicely. I had to wait some time to replace my 12-year-old Dyson because I'm poor! I was always disappointed with the Dyson because it was expensive and broke down a couple of times and just didn't have the suction needed. I did a lot of research and chose the Shark NV752 because it had all the features I wanted. It is so easy to assemble and rotate through the different carpet/hard floor options along with the tank-only, etc. settings. The suction is fabulous and love that it has a top and bottom trash release canister. It is fairly easy to cut hair and debris from the roller. The reason I gave four stars is because the core is way too short. It may not seem like a big deal - and I even have a small house - but I hate having to use each room's outlet to accommodate the cord length. The vacuum has a wonderful swivel function but tips way too easily. I understand swivel vacuums have this flaw, but this is a bit ridiculous. Overall, I love the product and would still highly recommend if the two flaws won't bother you. One other thing is that it uses high quality/sturdy plastic parts and you can replace and add easily. ... show more
