I should say I am writing this review on the basis of just one trip with these wonderful headphones. I left them on the plane and despite reporting it immediately, and two weeks of "we're looking" auto-emails/texts, I never saw them again. However, I did give them a good workout during that (international) trip and I found them to be an excellent update to my original set, comfortable, easy to operate and amazing noise cancelation and base notes. I liked them so much I bought another pair (not from amazon) to replace them, but those were lightly used -- still, an excellent set. I love the sound of Bose (I have their soundbar as well) and the headphones, especially the lovely midnight blue, are stylish and swanky. ... show more

I bought these for travel overseas and they worked just fine on those long flights. However, I live in a condo unit that constantly has construction or landscaping noise going on and I have found in the past year how truly valuable my purchase was. I can BT them into my Mac and phone and NOT have to listen to the drills and the saws and leaf blowers and hammer pounding and the lawn mowers too-noisy sounds while I am able to be home in the day. One of the best investments I've made for myself like, in ever. Oh yes, they're comfortable to wear for hours, they work great -- sound quality is wondeful and I'm able to move about my house and still listen to computer commentary!, the headphones charge quickly, and the accessories are all useful and proper. ... show more

Excellent Bose headphones. Much better noise cancellation than the QC35’s. Well made. Relatively comfortable (snug fit) but if they fit more loosely then outside sound would probably “leak in”.

    • Best option for people with sensitive ears

I’ve tried other headphones and most are either too heavy or too tight and causes my ears to heat up really easily. I can’t last more than five minutes on a pair of average headphone. This one started out clamping a bit too tight for me, but after about a week of wearing (and stretching it over the case when not in use) it became the perfect fit for me, and I can wear it for hours without discomfort which is an absolute first for me. If I had to say a con it would be noise blocking. This one deals with static sounds really well (i.e plane engine, general atmospheric noise) but higher pitched talking, someone’s loud keyboards nearby, it doesn’t do as good of a job blocking. However, still a great noise canceling headphone for most people. Recommended for people who find normal headphones too heavy or too tight. ... show more

    • FANTASTIC HEADPHONES (with one frustrating flaw)

The sound quality and comfort are both A+, but I'm writing this to add my voice to the chorus of otherwise-satisfied customers BEGGING Bose to please remove the "two connections at once" feature. It sounds like it would only be mildly inconvenient at worst, but trust me, it's not - it's a terrible horrible, useless feature that frustrates me every single time I try to use these headphones. They somehow manage to connect to any device apart from the one I'm trying to use. Every. Single. Time. It's bad enough that, despite absolutely LOVING these headphones in every other respect, I won't buy Bose again if this feature remains when I eventually need to replace these. It's that bad. Seriously, who asked for this? What possible benefit could there be? It can't actually play from two devices at once, so there's literally no upside here. It's just a pointless, frustrating "feature" that feels more like a defect. All that said, if you only intend to connect these to two devices or less, you'll never notice, and I recommend these headphones without hesitation. If you plan on regularly using 3+ devices though? Just a heads up: you will have to wrestle with them for roughly two minutes each and every time you turn them on.
