Purchased as a replacement for my original controller which had major drifting issues. I like the silver design; it works and charges and holds a charge perfectly so far. Also, nice to play games normally again. Most likely will purchase another one soon. (Does not come with the charging cable)

The media could not be loaded. My son had two bad controllers with terrible stick drift that could not be fixed by cleaning. I decided to grab 2 off of Amazon to surprise him for Christmas. I was not aware at that time of purchase that the controller would change color depending on light and positioning of the controller. He pointed it out to me as he was extremely excited About that 😊. The controller changes between purple and blue and is pretty cool. Besides that the controller works perfectly. He was able to plug it into his system to sync the controller and was gaming again within seconds. No issues at all with the controller. ... show more

These controllers handle well, and are extremely comfortable, but have components in them that break down too quickly in my opinion. This is my FIFTH controller since I got the console. I got a bundle years back that came with two controllers. Then I bought a black controller, then a red, now this additional black one. I'm not buying these because I love Sony so much. I'm buying them because eventually they start to drift, and it makes playing increasingly frustrating. It is unfortunately a very common problem. I dislike that I have essentially been signaling to Sony that they can continue to drag their feet fixing this problem. I enjoy playing games alone and with friends, and in order to do that I need a controller that works properly. The ps5 controller, aside from this drifting problem, is a really good controller. Comfortable, responsive, very good design. If they held up and didn't need to be replaced so often, I'd give a five out of five for sure. Everything from Tekken to Fortnite is a joy to play until the drifting starts to happen. Sony needs to address this properly. Order parts from a different company or something. ... show more

    • I got this controller for my 17 year old Son for Christmas and he loves it!

I have had the Xbox Elite 2 controller for a while and I have been telling my Son about the PlayStation version of the Elite controller for a while, but he said that he plays claw style and that he doesn't need them. So this year he finally asked me for them and now he sees why they are so much better than the normal PS5 controller with the back buttons for jumping and the other for meleeing or crouching. We play mostly shooter games so these controllers are worth it for us. The PlayStation dual sense edge are worth every penny if you like playing shooter games and having a great professional controller. It's nice that if the thumb sticks wear out that you can just pop them out and replace them instead of buying another controller I wish Xbox thought of this. ... show more
