I am a big kid and it still handles me fine I am like 145 pounds. The handle bars are tall which is a lot better than the other scooters I have. The deck is pretty big to the point that you can sit on it, and comfortably have two feet on unlike my other scooters. The brakes are very nice. The only thing I would want to change would be to one speed in to at least a two speed. THIS WORTH THE MONEY IN MY OPINION. Some concerns we had when looking included: based size, wheel size, battery life, and height. It’s hard because pretend are in between sizes. They’re too big for the child size items but too little for adult items. This fits preteens and teens perfectly!! Battery life is crazy on this thing! We love it. It works great! My doughty is 11 and this is perfect for her! It has a wide base as she has large shoe size for her age, the height is perfect! And it the larger wheels that go over bumps perfectly. We bought this scooter for my grandkids. We bought 2 and the are very nice. The battery last a long time. My grandkids love them. My own kids ride them too. So adults love them too

So my son loves it but the chain tensioner broke on the first ride. I had to wait till after the holiday to call razor. When I did call I spoke to the lady had to send her a picture of the broken part as well as my Amazon receipt. She said the warehouse is closed for a few more days so it won’t ship until it reopens and then it would be another 7 to 10 days after that. I wanted my son to use it sooner so I ordered the part for $10 on Amazon. I installed it fairly easy. Please be warned that if you go off a bump, even a small one you may throw the chain or break the spring on the tensioner. Make sure you inflate the tires to the proper psi. Maybe even a little more. The extender for the air pump is inside in one of the handle bars. It’s the only way you’ll inflate the tires with ease. Over all it’s been really fun and the battery has lasted as long as we’ve used it. If you go for a long ride make sure you have a multi tool on you because you might need it to remove the chain guard if you throw a chain. ... show more

Solid. Zero damage during shipping. Two minor scuffs on the metal deck plate but they are very minor and very forgivable. This was for my son but within the pre-requisite parental test I could tell they could not handle my weight and I am only 25 pounds over its weight limit. You could just sense a little bit of strain. Just an FYI. But people interested in this type of product need to read and follow instructions before purchasing and using. ... show more

We have taken very good care of this scooter. It worked fine at first. But, you know that 1 year warranty, well, it's like it's built to die right after that. We're just over a year in and it won't go. Battery is good. Charged. Turning the throttle produces a slight click in the motor/battery compartment, but the motor never engages. Got this as a Christmas gift for my 12 year old and he loves it! Battery charges quickly and long battery life, he rides around the neighborhood for hours. Easy to operate. Not too heavy, not hard for an adult (me) to load in/out of car. The only nit is the motor/battery is on the bottom with a low profile, so must be careful on bumpy or rocky ground. Nice sturdy scooter for kids. Bought this for my 9 year old - it’s pretty fast but she used the slower one for the past few years so she was ready for this speed. Wouldn’t recommend for beginners.
