The blue toner worked very well at covering the brassiness of my caramel highlights! After the shampoo was rinsed out, I squeezed the excess water out. I applied the blue toner, and left it on for about 5-7 minutes. Then the toner was rinsed out, and it was followed by regular conditioning. I have thick, coarse, dry hair, so conditioning was necessary even though someone else with a different hair type may find this product to be hydrating enough on its own. But for me, my hair can never have enough conditioner. The brass in my highlights have neutralized. My hair has a nice natural looking shine to it too. I really like this product. I never write reviews, but I wanted to let others who might be like me and just looking for something to refresh their copper/ginger hair to bring it back to life. My hair was looking dull and dry and faded. Tried this and holy cow!!!!! My copper is popping and my hair is silky smooth. I have naturally curly hair that has been struggling this winter and this stuff is amazing to calm my frizz and bring me some much needed moisture. This arrived as promised, however even after using this a handful of times and leaving it in for 30- 45 minutes, I saw absolutely no difference in my hair color. Super disappointing at this price point.
