A truly excellent product. I purchased the PowerNet after a terrible experience with an Easton "quick set up" net that was terrible. The PowerNet is great because it's fast and easy to assemble so my son and I can even make time to play after school on short winter days in the offseason, before losing daylight. We use it for hitting off the tee, as well as fielding drills where we pretend it's the cut-off man or position base player. We've set up and disassembled the net about 50 times so far and it shows no signs of wear whatsoever. The rods still connect tightly, the net seams are intact, and the base is tight fitting and true to form. The legs are durable and keep the net steady. It came with stakes, but my son is a small 13 year old, so he's able to take swings from the tee into the net without staking it down. If and when the time comes that we need to stake it, we'll purchase better stakes, as the ones that are included are pretty flimsy. That's literally my only complaint, and a small one at that. The carrying case is convenient and large enough that it can hold a few extra items, like the top portion of the batting tee, a rubber mallot for the stakes, and an extra bat.     • Basically a red Bownet. $50 dollars cheaper.

Backstory: I am the head coach of a 14U travel team and own three Bownets. For Christmas this past year my wife thought she would surprise me with another Bownet because at the time I only owned two and had been saying I would like to get a couple more but instead of buying the one with the built in sock net she bought the flat net which I did not like. I had already decided I was going to order another Bownet and buy a replacement net for the one my wife bought me so I would have four nets. While I was getting ready to buy the replacement net I noticed the Powernet and took a look at it. To me it looked just like a bownet except it was red instead of orange. I read the reviews and looked at the pictures and because it was $50 cheaper than an actual Bownet I decided to buy one and the Bownet replacement net. I figured if it sucked I would still have three Bownets. I ended up paying around $175 for both the Powernet and the Bownet replace the net. Around a fifty dollar savings from what I planned to spend. The Review: After unboxing the Powernet I was surprised to see that the actual net itself was really nice. To me it was equal to or better than the Bownet net. The bottom frame is different than the Bownets in that the tubing doesn't seem to be the same thickness and the snap buttons are cheaper. This doesn't mean that it's crappy, just that it is not the same materials. It sets up exactly the same and feel sturdy. The four fiberglass poles seem to be jus a slight bit thicker diameter than Bownets but work exactly the same. After setting it up I felt it was basically the same as the Bownet but $50 dollars cheaper. My daughter thought it was a Bownet just red. We took it out back hit some balls into it and so far haven't had any real problems. I will say though I don't know if it's because the bottom tubing if the frame is a little lighter or if the "legs" don't extend out as far as the Bownet but after the sock has about 15 or so balls in it my daughters hits would actually lift the the front off the ground as if it would tip over. I've never really had that happen with one of the Bownets. Other than that little tidbit the net worked great and has continued to so far. Summary: Basically a Chinese copycat Bownet. Seem to be the same materials (except the bottom frame which to me was not a big deal), same design and same results as a Bownet but $50 cheaper.
