The Phigolf2 simulator is meant to be a fun game. It is easy to quickly get started playing, and the app works fine. I have played it using real golf clubs and it is a fun experience. It won't completely accurately simulate your swings, but that's fine as it's a relatively cheap game/simulator.

I bought this to use on the days I couldn’t get to the course. It connects fines and is fun to play with. The included stubby club is weights about right for an iron. I like that it will show your swing path so you can tell if you are shallowing correctly. The ball distance is a little all over the place at times but I think that could partially be me. Super easy to set up and fun to play. It's not a GC Quad or Skytrac simulator, but I have found the distances to be within 5ish yards of what I would normally see in "real life" on a good strike. The swing stick is a good enough weight to not feel like a toy - and if you want you can remove the sensor and put it in your real clubs. That is the only "downside" with the swing stick - it doesn't provide you with data on whether or not you got the club back exactly where you started it. If you are already a good ball striker then this is an accurate device. If you hit a lot of fat/thin/toe/heel shots then you'll get quite a bit of "help" because the device assumes that you've gotten the club back to the same place. I love the different modes and have DEFINITELY improved my REAL driver accuracy because of the training data I get. I have suffered from a draw that turns into a hook on occasion, but am well on my way to a correction. If you are stuck home like I am, and miss golf, do yourself a favor and consider this device. And I just tried the WGT version today and loved it. The graphics are great and you get even more swing data (back and side spin, launch angle, ball speed). I'm very impressed. I had a simple idea - get the Phigolf and hop on the TV once in a while to play a round of golf by myself at some of the coolest golf courses. You know, just get away now and then via the virtual world. According to Phigolf's marketing materials, they were exactly what I was looking for. What a mistake. One of the major selling points for the Phigolf is the arrangement with WGT - buy Phigolf and for $2/month, you can access 24 great courses on WGT with wonderful graphics. Major problem #1 - WGT is absolutely horrible. You have zero control over the app - ads pop up, flashing arrows and hands pop up, you automatically get paired with a competitor even if you don't want it ..... the list is a mile long. If I was lucky enough to get to the screen I wanted before WGT directed me somewhere else, too much time had passed and the sensor on the Phigolf had gone to sleep. And if I tried to turn it back on, WGT wouldn't allow it "in the middle of a round" and I could only play by swiping my finger or using my mouse! I could never use Phigolf with WGT. Cheap trick #1 - you're supposed to get 24 courses if you sign up for the $2/mo subscription - guess what, you don't. You get some of the courses and the others remain locked until you reach a certain level. Which means you're back into WGT world where they are selling credits and coins in a gambling setup. WGT is not designed with the golfer in mind, it's a candy crush scheme aimed at getting you addicted and buying your way forward. I have no idea how anyone could stand WGT enough to get addicted, but some people are. So, without WGT you're left with Phigolf which isn't anything more than an overpriced Wii - in fact, it trails behind the Wii in some respects. My recommendation - don't buy this product (or sign up for WGT). Also, don't make my 2nd mistake - which was not messing around with it enough before the return window closed. ... show more

I have had this product for about a year and I am vey happy with the product. The kids (between 10-18) love this product and everyone that comes over enjoys the product. That being said, some of the swing details are not accurate. Example, I have never hit a 324 yard drive... It was cool, but there is no way. Also, the driving range and game mode most of the time don't match up with face angles and tempo. Overall this product is super cool and great for the office as well. I did not get the next level, only because I play golf almost year round and don't need it. I think this is a great product for the office, home, and vacations. More importantly, this is a great product for kids to play golf with dad and have a super time. ... show more
