We love this net! My son plays 9U baseball and we now use it all the time as part of his practice routine. It goes up easily, after doing it a couple of times it takes me no more than 2 minutes to put up or take down. It comes with spikes to secure it to the ground, but honestly I've never used them and have never had stability issues. But its nice to know they're here if you need them. I set this up in the back yard or sometimes inside the garage when the weather doesn't cooperate. We pack it up and bring it to the park, or my son's field for practice. Its so portable and easy to set up, you'll find yourself taking it everywhere. The net itself holds many balls, so you can keep hitting for quite awhile without having to empty it over and over. We also sometimes set it up behind first base so the kids can use it for infield practice to improve throwing accuracy. The tee seems to be good so far. It stands up well, and can take a hit without any problem. I guess time will tell how well it holds up long term, but it seems to be solid and well made so I'm not anticipating problems. Works well and is easy to set up. 2 people can have the whole thing set up and ready to go in just about 4 minutes, perfect for setting up for practice or warming up a batter during a game. There's a bunch of different companies selling this net online, I bought the Powernet brand because that's what another kid on my son's team was using. I'd also suggest using a 7x7 net, as anything smaller may not catch all the balls. My older son is able to get the top edge of this net with the tee only 3 feet in front of this net, I think the 6x6 net would not be large enough to stop those balls, at least not without the tee being really close to the net. Haven't had to stake it down either, as it holds itself up well without them. I guess an older batter may get it to fall over, but even strong 15 year old batters haven't knocked this one down yet. Gonna use this in the shop over winter to keep up on batting practice, although its small enough that one could fit in just one bay of an enclosed garage, so long as you have 7+ feet of clearance. ... show more

I purchased these items for my 13 year old fastpitch softball player. She is able to set up the net herself anywhere in less than 5 minutes. The pocket to the net is extremely large which allows for the collection of an entire 5 gallon bucket of balls. She hits into the net as well as practices pitching all by herself. I have soft tossed to her as well and this net stands up no matter how close we are to the net or how hard the ball is hit. It never topples. We also purchased the strike zone attachment. This attaches easily in seconds and helps with pitching practice. I highly recommend this net and the strike zone attachment for any age player, baseball or softball. The tee that comes with this set was a little disappointing. The top piece that holds the ball is very unique. It is able to hold any size ball. When swinging the top has enough give if accidentally hit that it won't break or cause the tee to tip over. The disappointment for me was that the entire top pole is more plastic. This could break. We used the tee once and the glue must not have set up correctly. The top piece disconnected from the compression clamp in the middle. So moving it up and down is not possible. We are trying to re-glue the top to the connector. If this doesn't work I will reach out to the company for warranty replacement. Overall, this is the best net I have seen. Tees are hard to find. This would be a great tee had the glue set up correctly. ... show more

I bought this bundle package for my 11-12 year old LL team. The practice net is worth the price of the bundle by itself, so I look at it as getting the collapsible tee for free. Knowing I have kids this year that have never played before, I figured the tee would not make it through the first couple of weeks of practice so I also purchased a heavy duty tee. So far the tee that comes in the bundle has held up to a number of loopy swingers that launch the tee into the net. I have been very impressed with the durability of both the net and tee, and would recommend this bundle to any coach or parent that wants to help their kid(s) improve. The tee is collapsible enough that it should fit inside the carry bag for the net. As for the net itself, the 7x7 size is much better at stopping balls off the tee than my previous 6x6 net. I've only used it for hitting, but would be great to set up at home plate for pitching practice or on second base to give your catcher a target for throw downs when its just you and your kid. Or set it up anywhere for a target when hitting ground balls or pop flys. It gives you a "third" person to practice with when its just you and your kid. I find it to be a necessary tool in my bag of practice gear, and would recommend for every age group. This bundle was definitely the best value of any net I found and I typically do a lot of research before purchasing items, both monetarily and review wise. ... show more
