Features

  • Why Choose Stainless Steel? - Cat water fountain made of plastic easily breed bacteria and cannot be sterilized using high temperatures. In addition, plastic drinking fountains can cause your cat to get folliculitis, which is harmful to their health.
  • Food-grade & Dishwasher Safe: PETLIBRO pet water fountain is made entirely of 304 stainless steel. Its BPA-free, rust- and corrosion-resistant, and can be washed in the dishwasher.
  • Adjustable Water Flow: The water flow of the PETLIBRO water dispenser can be adjusted to suit your pets preference, attracting it to drink more water, which can prevent your pet suffering from urinary and kidney diseases.
  • Super Quiet & Easy to Use: A silent pump means this dog water dispenser operates below 30dB, which is almost inaudible. The ergonomic handle makes it easy to pull the lid off to clean inside and add water.
  • 24/7 Filtered Fresh Water: PETLIBRO automatic pet fountain is equipped with a filter and pre-filter sponge. The double filtration system filters hair and other debris to remove odors and impurities, providing purified running water for your pet. (Replace filter every 2-4 weeks) Search "B08ZCTGNGD" for filter.
  • Leak- & Splash-proof Design: Overflow is prevented by a raised pump holder, and the trumpet-shaped water outlet pipe can prevent splashing of water even when the water outlet is blocked by a pet's naughty paw. We offer 30 days free return and 1 year warranty, please feel free to contact us to get a satisfied solution.

  • Kitty approved!!
Pattern Name: 67oz/2L
The media could not be loaded. EDIT: Dec 2022 - ** I've attached 2 new photo's with the date "Dec 17, 2022" on them to show what great shape this fountain is still in one year later. There are several marks on the top of the fountain lid from my two cats pawing at the water but none of them are rusted or even appear to begin to rust. Both cats still love the fountain (along with the humans) and drink from it constantly. I have not found any mold in any area's of the fountain and do still wash it between 1 and 2 weeks. I use the small brush that is provided with the filter kit (sold separately), a toothbrush and Qtips to clean it. I do submerge the motor (taken apart) into a dishpan with soap and hand wash the whole fountain. There is no reason not to submerge the motor to clean it... it's submerged into a pan of water when in use. The black spongy filter does catch any hair that gets into the fountain. The only time that the fountain has made a noise is when I accidentally let the water level get too low, otherwise it makes absolutely no noise. As I said in my original post... I would definitely recommend and repurchase this fountain without hesitation. ** This fountain is kitty (and people) approved!! We have 2 cats. 1 always wants to get a drink from the bathroom faucet but will drink from a bowl. The other kitty has used both a bowl and fountain. I was hoping that they would both like this one because it has an actual stream of water. From the minute I plugged it in they both have used it. For me, the whole point of a fountain is to get my cats to drink more water. The other reason that I purchased this fountain is because one of our cats has a plastic allergy and the Vet said to use stainless steel. This fountain is approximately 11 long x 8 wide x 3 deep. I use bottled water due to having hard water from the faucet. The fountain is lightweight and very easy to put together and take apart to clean. Like everyone else, I would prefer to clean the fountain every 2 weeks or so but I clean it weekly so that they will use it more often. As of March 2022 a box of replacement filters costs about $22. That includes 8 charcoal filters and 8 black "spongy" filters. That means that I spend $2.75 each week on 2 replacement filters. In my opinion that's nothing if my cats are drinking. How much do you spend on 1 cup of coffee one time a week? The fountain comes with a 6 foot usb cord which does include a two prong plug-in head (sorry, not sure what they're called). I wish that the cord was another foot or two longer for those of us that need to reach a plug behind furniture. The cord is attached to the motor and I'm not sure if you can purchase just the motor if it dies. The motor is easy to clean... but only the front of it which can be taken apart. One photo shows the 2 filters, a small brush which is included and a toothbrush. I've always used a toothbrush on my fountains to clean area's that a dishrag can not get to. I've taken photo's of the motor of area's that I'm concerned about. My concern is that some of these area's can not be cleaned well enough so I'm always watching for any mold growth. These area's are my concerns: The photo labeled "back of pump" - a qtip can be inserted in this area but it is hard to clean. In my opinion this plastic cover never should have been included in the design. It really serves no purpose other than to make the motor/pump completely circular. The "front of pump" photo - this shows where a qtip can be inserted in the bottom left corner but the area above that is not wide enough for the qtip to move up. A toothbrush does get some of this area. The next two photos labeled "white rubber piece on underside..." - this is the back/bottom of fountain head. This area is impossible to get a qtip or brush under the lip. You can see better on the photo that has a light on this area. You can clean around this area but there is actually a little lip up under the rubber that you can not get to. This area of the fountain is what concerns me. We've had the fountain for 4 months and I have not seen any mold but I'm keeping my eye on this area. I like that the fountain has an adjustable head so that I can decide how strong of a stream to set it to. Our last fountain only bubbled. As I said both of my cats use this fountain. They like the stream set in the middle which provides a strong enough stream like the faucet. They also will drink from the pool of water that this provides. Having a "lid" over the bowl does stop a lot of the hair that usually gets into fountains. The fountain makes absolutely no noise (with adequate water) which surprised me. The stream usually stays the same even if the water gets low. Last week the water level did get low and that's when it made a noise. Just to put my two cents in - I've read reviews that said the bowl was full of mold within days. I have a hard time believing that mold grew within days. I believe that food particles got into the bowl but more than likely someone wasnt cleaning the fountain or it sat unplugged. Mold doesnt just fill a bowl of moving water in days. Other reviews said that this is not stainless steel. Since my Dad was a welder his entire adult life I decided to ask him. He said that it would certainly cost twice as much and be much heavier if it was 100% staineless. He said that what people don't realize is that other countries have different stainless steel. Meaning that all stainless steel can be made from different metals depending on their country of origin. This fountain says the metal is SUS304 vs SS304. SUS is Japanese stainless steel. Some items may be stainless steel "coated". Depending on the metals used to make stainless steel means that sometimes magnets will and will not stick. Look this info up online. I have had no problem with rusting. I also only hand wash the fountain. My cat that has to use only stainless steel products has had no allergic reaction from using this fountain... so I know right there that it is stainless steel. Even though there are a few area's that I'd like changed with the fountain (in order to clean easier), I would definitely reccomend and purchase again. My cats are drinking more water because of this fountains design. ... show more

  • Full review after owning this fountain for just over one year.
Pattern Name: 67oz/2L
I have owned this fountain for 1 year and 2 months. Overall, it has held up very well with proper use and maintenance. My cats are now complete water snobs and will only drink from this fountain. NOISE: This fountain is almost completely silent. When the water level gets too low, it does start making a sound like the pump is sucking air with the water (which it is). I find this helpful since you cannot see the water level inside the basin. CLEANING: I did not find appropriate cleaning instructions with this fountain, but have adapted my own cleaning process. The stainless steel pieces can go in the dishwasher, but the plastic pieces cannot. I personally prefer to clean the whole thing by hand because a) it’s faster since I have to wash the plastic pieces anyway, and b) you should really take all the pieces apart to clean the crevices, including the ones attached to the steel. (See photos included in this review.) I ended up purchasing a set of baby bottle cleaning brushes (Munchkin Details Bottle and Cup Detailing Brush Set, $6.47 at Walmart) which I find work much better than the small bush that came with the fountain. There are quite a few nooks and crannies that are impossible to clean without taking each piece completely apart. This is the order which I take apart and clean each piece: 1. Remove old sponge and filter, place new sponge and filter in a bowl of clean water to soak while I clean everything. 2. Remove top steel piece. The two main pieces that make up the spigot which shoots water out can be unscrewed from each other by the top and bottom. I also remove the rubber cone and clean that separately. (I haven’t been able to determine if the “ergonomic” handle part can come off, and I feel like it will break if I try to force it.) The part that holds the filter can also be gently removed from the small, narrow oval piece that holds it in place on the top. I scrub and rinse everything using warm water, dish soap and a clean sponge/baby bottle brushes. It took me a long time to realize these pieces could come off of the top, and there was a significant amount of gross buildup (specifically in the spigot) once I dismantled them. 3. Take off the USB plug from the end of the cord. Pull the cord through the cord holder slot and let that drape over the counter so I don’t get it wet. Unstick (suction cups) the pump from the bottom metal piece. The front and rear plastic pieces do come off of the pump, and the little plastic flip door can also be gently removed for thorough cleaning. The spinner in the front of the pump is held in place by a magnet, and it can also be removed. You can see many nooks, holes, and crannies in these pieces, where slime can build up if not properly cleaned. I scrub every piece thoroughly with the baby bottle brushes, making sure to use the tiniest brush to get into the smallest holes. 4. The orange pump holder just pops off the base, and both of those pieces get washed and rinsed. 5. Replace sponge and filter, reassemble, fill with fresh water (I do use filtered water), plug in. This process does take me about 10 minutes to complete. I realize not everyone will find this acceptable, and there are other ways that may be more efficient to clean everything (running through with or soaking in vinegar, etc.), but this is what works for me. VALUE: For the price, this is a great fountain. IN SUMMARY: I do not feel that the instructions for properly cleaning this fountain are enough, which is why I only rated it 4 stars. The fountain will also stop pumping if your power goes out, and since the water is all stored in the basin below, pets will not be able to access the water in the event. Other than that, the fountain is running as good as it did the day I got it, and my cats absolutely LOVE it. It’s very quiet, and holds a decent amount of water. Almost every fountain I have ever had is something of a pain to clean, I am glad this fountain can at least be almost 99% dismantled for cleaning. (BOTTLE BRUSHES: the clip that holds the small brushes in the kit I purchased (in photos) also has a small wedge that I use to pry apart some of the more difficult pieces of the water pump in this fountain.) ... show more
