I love this storage container on wheels. We have a large dog who eats a lot! We were having to lug the huge bag of kibble around the kitchen so I thought something on wheels would be beneficial and this fit the bill. It is very secure so if we leave it out of the pantry our dog cannot get into it. I love that it has wheels and I can roll it to our pet's bowl station without issue. It is easy to keep clean and keeps our large 50 lb bag of dog food, and treats on top of the bag off the floor and closed, airtight so that the kibble stays fresh to the last crumb. I am about to purchase another two bins on wheels one for my tennis and flip shoes for the closet and one for my bathroom closet, to store extra soap other toiletries. I like to buy in bulk and this container will give me more space under my bathroom cabinet and I can roll it into my bathroom closet, no problems.     • Battling a winter mouse in incursion forced me to finally look for something like this.
It is exactly what I needed. I had been storing my 40 pound bag of dry dog food in its own bag with the top folded over and a very large clip holding it closed. While that worked well enough to keep my dog out of the bag it did not work to keep a mouse from eating a hole in the bottom of one this winter when it got chilly and they decided to come into my house to be warm and dry, so I looked for something that would be mouse proof and sturdy, and could an entire 40 lb bag of kibble fresh & airtight and this serves all those purposes. The hinged lid with the airtight snap down works easily & perfectly. I don’t have to bend very far to get to the kibble until we get to the very bottom and there are four sturdy casters that allow me to move it around easily if needed.     • Fits 50#'s and then some - Love this product - works better than imagined
We have smaller versions of the 50# model and they are terrible. Flimsy, weak, lid falls off -etc. However, the 50# model (this review) is much better. Too, the lid does not fall off once its vertical. You can let it fall right over the back and it stays hinged. If you look at the product image which shows a slightly translucent view of dog-food near the top but still a few inches down, this is what it really looked like for us when we put 50# of small kibble in it. NOTE: If you have 50# of large chunk dog food, you MAY have a different experience. Keep in mind, that size/shape may affect how well your product fits in the bin. For us, its working awesome. We recently rescued a large Bernese Mountain Dog & got this to store his dry food. But it’s so large & easy to maneuver (and fits under a table), that we also use it to store some of his other things. Instead of pouring his bag of dry dog food directly into the bin, we put the entire bag in the bin. Not only does that keep the bin cleaner, but it allows us to also store his treats, bones & other various items, in another bag, inside the bin. Great quality, good price & made in the USA. Overall, I think this is a good container. It was quick to assemble and it’s a great size for a 50 pound bag of dog food. However, the wheels broke off a couple months in from wheeling around - second time this had happen. And maybe 2 years ago now I think, the handle broke off so I’m constantly having to put it back on when going to close the lid. It’s still in good shape, but I’m not sure I’d purchase it again to store anything heavy in it. ... show more

Purchased this to hold my 40lb dog food. it makes it a lot easier to feed my dogs with the wheels to move around and the fold up top with clasp to seal it.

    • Not packaged sufficiently for delivery, low quality materials, not usable.
The first one I got was broken. Amazon shipped a second. Also broken, warped, and missing a caster. The thin plastic bin was just thrown in a box. That's it. No padding, no filling, nothing. The plastic is sub-standard material, was warped, cracked, and broken. There is no chance this was ever air-tight and no chance it could hold 50 lbs. That's crazy. I have a strong suspicion that the high-star reviews were for a previous version, and we are now getting a lower-quality product. Not even remotely worth the price by any standard. From a store like Lowes, I'd expect a product of this quality to be no more than $8. ... show more
