The media could not be loaded. Setting things up don’t come easy for me but I was able to follow the directions and do it pretty quickly. Once you download the app just follow instructions. My dog loves it . She is only 2 months old and I hope this gets her on the schedule. The beauty of it is if you want to change the schedule or release manually like I had to do after I took the video, you can directly from the app adjusting the quantity.     • Simple and easy to set-up
This product was simple and easy to use right out of the package. The app is the same one you probably already have on your phone, and it is the same one used by many other home smart devices, so it is really plug-and-play. The app is simple to use and the camera is great both in color and B&W. Just a few notes: Calibrate your portions based on your specific food - load the food and dispense 10 portions to start. Adjust the portions until you get the portion correct (10 portions for my food = 1 cup for example). Also, note that some dogs will be frightened by the sound the food makes when it is dispensed into the container - you can soften the sound with batting or other material under the cup and they will get used to the sound, especially when they know it is food. For dogs, the camera is good for long distance viewing only, their heads are too large and block the camera when eating. The audio works well. The container holds plenty of food. I adopted an underweight dog and he is on a feeding schedule and when I work I don't want him to go too long between meals so I purchased this and am so glad I did. I love that I can feed him and watch him and talk to him, i can hear him too. It holds quite a bit of food. It was a good purchase for me. I can see when he goes in and out the dog door bc that's where I have it set up. It's got a pretty wide camera lens. It's really for cats I think bc it gives tiny portions, I had to measure out the food and figure out how many servings to give him. He could easily knock it over but I told him to leave it alone. I also don't feed him at an exact time bc i don't want to wake him if he's napping so I set it up in the app so that it notifies me when there's movement and that's when I feed him though i can set it up by time as well. My puppy very quickly figured out how to press the button and feed herself. While I was away from the house I was able to watch her feed herself 19 times. My other concern is there doesn’t seem to be a backup plan for if the power with your WiFi is out. I’m in an area where that happens often and typically my other feeders have a battery backup so I don’t worry about my 4 dogs missing a meal, but this doesn’t seem to have an internal memory to feed if the WiFi is down.     • Amazing feeder with one flaw
I have had one of these feeders for a few months so I’ll give my honest review. I have two smaller dogs and I do a mix of kibble, freeze dried power and pellets as well as air dried treats as their food. The feeder has only ever clogged once because one of the freeze dried pellets got stuck in just the right angle - but because the feed paddles are silicone it was very easy to get the food unstuck. One full container lasts my boys about 3 weeks. It was very quick and easy for my boys to learn a command for when I was dispensing food.. they even tell me when they want more! There’s only really one negative about this feeder and if it were fixed the feeder would be a smashing hit for me. The camera is very good quality and the night vision works great.. but you can’t see the food bowl with the camera so I can’t tell if my boys have eaten all of their food. It’s nice to have a great camera.. but I want to see how much food is left in the bowl. ... show more

I really like this feeder. It holds a lot of food in the container and dispenses seamlessly and quietly, plus you get a notification when it is complete. The camera is nice and clear and works like a security camera in terms of picture quality. The only reason why I didn't give it a 5 star was because it does not alert you when the food is low; without you looking through the clear notification window at the front.
