This product held up very well for food and water for 5 days itself. My dad was staying at house and said he pretty much didn't have to add anything cause the water stops at the dish size and food falls when getting closer to the bottom. I had to go out of town for a couple days, so I needed a bulk feeder & waterer (actually two sets - for two cats who can't be together). I had a couple bulk feeders/waterers before, but I wasn't entirely happy with them. The food didn't dispense well via just gravity (to the point that the cats would knock it down, to get the food out), and the waterer was too good - it frequently spilled, so I had to leave it on a puppy pad. Also they were very hard to open and fill. These are better at dispensing both food and water, but the plastic feels much lighter and flimsier. However, they're BOTH easier to fill. And whilei was gone, neither of the water dispensers spilled any water. I'm very satisfied. Just wish they were a little sturdier. ... show more

This is a non fussy way to make sure your cats have clean water and food. Very simple, they come assembled. They’re easy to clean and refill, my 7 year olds have this as their chore. With three cats, we do this once a week or so.

They work ok. They are very hard to clean, bought several brushes to try and get inside of them and finally just threw them away. The water bowl for a large dog is not going to last very long, may-be through the day. We bought one of those kind that hook to the hose, much better for him. The food dispenser NEVER clogs. I bought it for my dog while on a weekend getaway. My dog doesn't overeat so I use it now as a daily food bowl and it's never failed. (My dog is a 50lb Springer mix. This container filled full of food lasts him about 7-8 days) The water dispenser is amazing! It's lid has a pressure valve. It fills the bowl and once full it closes itself. Only to reopen when the water level in the bowl drops. The water stays sealed and cleaner while in long-term use. (This water dispenser lasts my dog 6-7 days) (Typical ones have holes in the lid that let's the water flow into the bowl. After a couple days outside they start to show green growth and are difficult to clean.) I highly recommend these!! ... show more
