I bought these for my 2 cats when I have to go out of town and they last for weeks. I'm fact I have to change the water long before it runs out so it doesn't get old. They work exactly like they are supposed to and food always comes out without me having to make it. The water doesn't leak and they are well built. I bought these for my 18-lb cat as I travel a lot for work. Filling them up was super easy. For the water, it took a second to figure out—you simply have to just pull it kind of hard off the bowl. So far, it works perfectly. I love the green color!

I had to go out of town for a couple days, so I needed a bulk feeder & waterer (actually two sets - for two cats who can't be together). I had a couple bulk feeders/waterers before, but I wasn't entirely happy with them. The food didn't dispense well via just gravity (to the point that the cats would knock it down, to get the food out), and the waterer was too good - it frequently spilled, so I had to leave it on a puppy pad. Also they were very hard to open and fill. These are better at dispensing both food and water, but the plastic feels much lighter and flimsier. However, they're BOTH easier to fill. And whilei was gone, neither of the water dispensers spilled any water. I'm very satisfied. Just wish they were a little sturdier. ... show more

Went out of town for a week and I have a pit / boxer 78 lbs. I usually kept his food in a dish bowl the size of a mixer bowl for cake batter mixing. This product held up very well for food and water for 5 days itself. My dad was staying at house and said he pretty much didn't have to add anything cause the water stops at the dish size and food falls when getting closer to the bottom.     • Water Feeder Issue

Problem with the water feeder: I purchased two of these because Goose had 5 kittens and I kept them in a room separate from Ducky. This way they both had their own feeders and water dispensers. The product is good for the reason I bought it, to keep the cats with water for the time I’m not home. I took advantage of the canister, the size, and filled it all the way up. I thought this would be great! I wouldn’t have to bend over anymore with my bad back, at least for awhile. However, my cats seem to like to try to hide their food and water. In the case of the water feeder, I seem to have to clean the water (refresh it) with new water often due to this. What happened was when I tried to get the canister out to do so, it made a mess. The water was all over the place.Then I tried to pick the feeder up to go empty it, I guess the movement of the water when I was walking mimicked the movement of when cats were drinking from it and the water kept releasing and releasing out of the canister. With that being said, I had a trail of water from my bedroom into my bathroom. What a mess! Thoughts of improvement: As soon as this happened, right away I thought about what I WOULD DO to improve upon this product. I thought that if they had a button release, exactly like what the Swiffer Wetjet has to release the liquid soap, it would be wonderful. If they had a button like this on the back, it would release the water canister from the base in which the cats drink out of. It would be so much easier to clean and a lot less of a mess for me, the consumer. I found this to be a big problem. I don’t know if others have that same problem, but I am a disabled person and I really didn’t need the extra chore of drying up the floors. I bought this to be a convenience. . ... show more
