They sell these exact one in pet stores and some markets and they are so incredibly expensive, you get them on here much cheaper. And these really are the best especially for your dog food really does keep the food, nice and fresh, easy to keep in the cupboard and just pull out, get a little scooper or shovel the food. We use this for cat food. The seal isn’t completely air tight, but it’s enough to work for a couple of weeks. The plastic is good quality. It’s closes and opens super easy. The closure is very secure and easy to use. Super easy to clean. I’d say it’s a great value.

I have a few of these Van Ness containers for my bird seed in my shed. These fit right around 15lbs of bird seed. The downside of this brand is that they DO NOT STACK. The lids are domed in the middle and if you try to put them on top of each other, they completely slide off. I put up with it, but I really wish they stacked on one another. Besides that, they are air tight. Nothing has gotten into these containers while they have been stored in my shed. ... show more

I bought one of these containers specifically to hold the whole 10 pound box of Milkbones. My dogs are unable to get into it and it does hold the entire box. I got another one to hold the Guinea pig food pellets. Very convenient and feels well made.

This worked out great for me, small enough to fit on my kitchen counter, but big enough to hold a lot of food. I had a 13 lb. bag and all did not fit, but it's only rated for 10 lbs. so that's fine.
