The chair is light, which is good. However, it’s almost impossible to get the chair to collapse or to open it again. Will never work for an elderly person who is trying to care of another elderly person. An utter disappointment.

Price point is good for a budget. It's not meant to be opened and closed by a disabled or very elderly person. That's why it's a passenger wheelchair and not self propelled. There is a learning curve for learning how to open and close it. I did have to buy a cushion to help with comfort. Luckily I have narrow hips, so people with wide hips may find it cramped. The wheels don't do well on uneven surfaces or inclines. Hopefully I can switch them out to sturdier ones. All in all it made a trip at the theme park a lot less of a physical strain and let me enjoy being there instead. My poor boyfriend had to struggle to get me through the bumps and cracks and slightly elevated doorways of the theme park, though. Poor guy was sweating buckets but still thinks it's better than me being in pain or not being able to be out for the day at all. Fits in his sedan's trunk just fine next to his grandma's smaller portable wheelchair. ... show more
