First thing first. It is tall. I am four foot eight. 😂 It blows cool air. The speed works well. It is quiet! Not like a fan with blades or loud sound. It is quietly. You just hear the blow and power of the force wind and it keeps me cool. I am 34, hot flashes. I am grateful for my kidney transplant but these sweat glands work well after a transplant because that power of cool, works wonders! In an effort to save some space in a smaller apartment, I decided to get one of these tower fans. This fan is pretty big or at least it is quite tall. It comes well packaged and in four pieces. There is the main tower that is the fan.. There are two plastic pieces that snap together to make the base of the fan. Assembly is very easy and takes about 2 minutes. The forth piece is the remote. I got this via Amazon Warehouse in "Like New" condition for about $28. It didn't come with batteries for the remote. I'm not sure if if doesn't come with them or they were missing because it came from Amazon Warehouse. The remote needs two AAA batteries. This fan is powerful. It will blow papers off a table 15 or more feet away. The remote works well but only if the center of the fan is in line with the remote. It seems like there is a little sensor on one part of the fan that receives the signal from the remote. When the fan is on and rotating, the remote will only work during part of the rotation. If that one spot on the fan that receives the remote signal is not directly facing the remote then the fan doesn't pick up the signal from the remote. The touch controls on the top of the fan work flawlessly and are easy to control. It does have some sort of auto shutoff but I haven't played with the automatic settings enough to really know exactly how they work. Overall, this is a great fan at the $28 Amazon Warehouse price for a "Like New" one. At the $75 or more new price it is still probably a pretty good deal. There are lots of similar fans at that price. If you're going to buy a new one at full price you might want to look around and compare this one to other models. If you order this tower fan whether new or from Amazon Warehouse I think you'll be happy with it. The remote could work a little better but that's my only issue with it so far. ... show more

I originally bought this fa for my office then I bought another for my home. I love this fan. It pushes a lot of air and circulates. It’s quiet and has multiple selections of breeze or oscillating. It’s perfect.

    • Fan is good, remote is wortless

The fan is a fan - it works like it should and is fairly quiet. The remote is totally worthless. Even with new batteries, I have to get up and stand within a foot of the fan to get the remote to work, and if you turn the fan off facing the wrong direction, the remote won't work at all. I know this sounds silly, but in this day and age they could have at least made the remote Bluetooth or added Wi-Fi ability to the fan so you can control it from anywhere in your home. ... show more

It's a nice fan, even at this price....WHEN it was new and not making this irritating squeak, especially when on at night...!!! What's even more irritating, their "customer service" is NON-existent....NO HELP at all when asking "how and where to lubricate"....and don't even try to ask for a link to the Owner's Manual...it's as if they built it with NO expectations that it might ever develop a squeak during your "lifetime of ownership". If all these issue don't bother you, and you can get a great deal on one, have at it....otherwise, I'd suggest there are other options...I do have two Pelonis 18" pedestal fans that are bigger and bulkier, but have perform flawlessly and used in larger rooms in my home..."so far"...GOOD LUCK...!!! UPDATE: some how/some way, the irritating squeak is long gone.....this has become one of the BEST items I've ever purchase from Amazon....it's in my "bedroom/office/mancave" and I run it practically, 24/7 and provides the air circulation and comfort I want throughout the day, and especially, night....you know it's great when the dog comes in to "cool off" and lies down right in front....!!! ... show more

I ordered this for my great room - open kitchen and living room (high ceiling) and entry area. I've only used it for 4 days, but feel I have to go ahead and review it. I'm in Florida, and this year's high heat combined with ever present humidity has had my AC running almost constantly. This fan has really helped. I love the temperature sensitive automatic fan adjustment setting. It really works! I am no longer having to set the AC thermostat lower as the day goes on in order to feel comfortable. I do not find it noisy at all, and love the timer. I downgraded the remote due to slight difficulty in retrieving it, not due the the controls or functionality. The controls are intuitive and match the fan top. My issue is that the storage slot is on the back side of the fan and the remote sticks out enough that it is easy to fall if you are trying to retrieve it from the front side of the fan. Mine has fallen on the tile floor several times already, but I am getting accustomed to it. Excellent product! ... show more

I have had this fan for over two years at this point, and it is on literally 24/7. As other reviews mention, the remote is line of sight, but honestly that is not an issue for me. I have 2 shed-happy dogs and this fan has NO problems with the fur. Super quiet, surprisingly powerful, and a small footprint! Only thing that could make it better is if the power cable was retractable so I didn't have to loop the unused length around the base of the fan. ... show more
