I bought it to replace a different brand of standing fan, it was about half the cost, and it is about 3/4s the quality. That's harsher than intended. For it's price it seems to be a good fan, it does everything it claimed. I was expecting something slightly bigger (my fault for making an assumption) and it isn't as powerful as I wanted. But within it's stated limits (again, my fault for not paying attention) it's a good product. Placing it on something to raise it up helped a lot. It is EXTREMELY QUIET which is a very good thing, but it creates a softer breeze, not the more powerful air circulation I was hoping for. Again, raising it up higher onto a stand improved this in practice. It was very easy to put together, and it is very lightweight. It has three timer options which is nice, but it ALSO shuts itself off at some point I have yet to ascertain exactly when. If I go to bed with it on, it is off when I wake up. If I go to work with it on for my pets it is off when I come home. ... show more

The 30" Pelonis tower fan was exactly what I needed for the bedroom; Very nice, quiet fan with good air flow! Very easy to place the base (2 pieces) and lock with a heavy duty plastic ring. The cord is just above the base which is a great design feature, so there is no struggle with the cord underneath and it sits in a stable position on the floor. It is light weight, low profile (not bulky), and has a convenient carry handle. Able to feel the air flow on all 3 speeds (even up to 12 feet away on low speed), so I don't have to place it right next to the bed, just out of the way in the corner. It runs very quietly and circulates air effectively. I didn't hear any difference in the sound level when oscillating. It oscillates smoothly and quietly. I'm a light sleeper and tend to wake up with other fans on low, but this is quiet enough for me on the middle speed so I can enjoy the increased air flow without waking up. The timer is easy to operate. This model is manual, so no remote, which is fine with me. We don't need any more remote clutter! No need to increase the TV volume while the fan is on level 1 or 2, but level 3- the highest speed- you may need to increase TV volume slightly. I have tried several other mid-sized fans and this Pelonis is the best as far as looks, assembly, functionality, and quiet operation for a bedroom or living room. ... show more

This fan is fantastic. It is quiet and powers my whole living room. I do wish I had gotten a taller one now but went with the cheaper one for price. It does occasionally shut off when we haven't used the timer, I haven't figured that part out yet but it's not a big deal to turn it back on. The remote is a plus. I've used it for a couple weeks now, curious to see how long it lasts and if the oscillation works the whole time too. ... show more

It was a great price compared to others. Once I finally opened it, we saw it has a dial. And it is loud. It blows cool air but go with something else. I should have read the description better. 3 stars because it does keep you cool but turning that know is a pain.

I am very happy with this fan. It checks all the boxes for me. 1. NOT DIGITAL. This means I can use it with my Alexa smart WIFI switches. The newer digital models will not turn on when switching the power off then on. The so called "Works with Alexa" models are super expensive and often require their own app to setup. NO THANKS! Easy assembly and use of controls. Interface between base and tower is a bit wobbly if bumped, but fan is stable during operation even when using oscillation feature. I used this fan to pull air down a hallway and into a living room area off to the right. The orientation of the air inlet and outlet worked great for this. If the living room had been off to the left not so much. When looking down on the top of the fan as if looking at an analog clock face, the air inlet is oriented from 8 to 1 o'clock and the outlet is oriented between 5 and 6 o'clock. In other words, the fan was designed to blow air out to the right. Air flow is ok, about equal to a good 9" circular fan. Another limitation is the inability to direct air upward, a feature most circular fans have. The fan blows a vertical wall of air horizontally, between 9-25" off the floor, unless raised up on some type of stand. Overall, unless it's a niche application, I'll stick with circular fans. ... show more
