This fan is fantastic. It is quiet and powers my whole living room. I do wish I had gotten a taller one now but went with the cheaper one for price. It does occasionally shut off when we haven't used the timer, I haven't figured that part out yet but it's not a big deal to turn it back on. The remote is a plus. I bought it to replace a different brand of standing fan, it was about half the cost, and it is about 3/4s the quality. That's harsher than intended. For it's price it seems to be a good fan, it does everything it claimed. I was expecting something slightly bigger (my fault for making an assumption) and it isn't as powerful as I wanted. But within it's stated limits (again, my fault for not paying attention) it's a good product. Placing it on something to raise it up helped a lot. It is EXTREMELY QUIET which is a very good thing, but it creates a softer breeze, not the more powerful air circulation I was hoping for. Again, raising it up higher onto a stand improved this in practice. It was very easy to put together, and it is very lightweight. It has three timer options which is nice, but it ALSO shuts itself off at some point I have yet to ascertain exactly when. If I go to bed with it on, it is off when I wake up. If I go to work with it on for my pets it is off when I come home. ... show more

This little tower has so many settings to choose from and a timer. It puts out plenty of air and it’s quiet (on low) but not loud on a higher speed. It also has a remote! I would buy again.

This fan has a very effective mechanism. It occsilates and can be set for 2 hours and then reset for repeat cycles.. We ordered a second one and use the two in the family room to avoid using Pg&E during peak hours. it is 94° outside and cool inside. We will take one in the bedroom for one side of the bed because overhead fan is bothersome to one of the sleepers. We could not survive this heat wave without the fans. So far as a basic fan, this works OK. Moves air well although quieter would be better. Also the lights on top of the fan are totally useless. I operate it completely with the remote. From my chair the lights can't be seen at all. Beyond that, they turn off after a few seconds. My old fan had lights showing the fan speed high on the front and they stayed on. A quick glance and I knew what speed the fan was running. I really miss that. As to the remote itself; I really like that it uses AAA batteries rather than button cells. On the downside, it's pretty finicky when changing speeds. Overall though I'm fairly happy with it for the price. ... show more
