So my room has been going through trails and errors since it’s decent size. My room has carpet and I was using 2 mini fans and a large lasko stand fan to combat the heat. It didn’t work . So I decided to buy this fan. It worked great at night when the sun is down and the heat is at bay. But when the sun was up and out my fans didn’t stand a chance. So I decided to finally invest and get an AC. There’s just no way I can live for weeks and months in a hot room. When my AC arrived it was the perfect combination. I didn’t have to have multiple fans running. It’s just my AC and this fan on. It doesn’t take much space. The air flow is fine. Not loud. The power isn’t strong like a lasko stand fan but since the AC is on it doesn’t have to produce that much power. The remote is easy to use once you read the manual. The oscillation is good but if I want a steady flow of air I’d rather not have it on oscillation. The weight of it isn’t heavy you can easily transfer it to your room . And the installation is pretty simple. Just follow the instructions step by step. After that you’re all set ! Enjoy the fan ! ... show more

    • I Almost Wish I Needed More Fans!

I bought this fan to replace an older tower fan that got knocked over one too many times. That was a bummer, but man, what a blessing in disguise! I LOVE this Dreo Smart Tower Fan WiFi Voice Control fan! So easy to set up, the only assembly is the base, which does not require any tools or screws - just put the two sides of the base together, line it up with the bottom of the fan and turn clockwise - super easy. I got the WiFi version that works with my Alexa - downloading the app, syncing it with my wifi and linking with Alexa was very simple. I'm not crazy with having another app on my phone, but it is necessary to use the smart functions. The remote is attractive, intuitive (no guesswork what the buttons mean) and a good size...not too small and cheap looking, not too big and ridiculous. Fits perfectly in the back (handle), so it's available for me in case my Alexa or wifi goes out for some reason. I might stick some velcro or something on it to keep it in place if I move the fan and forget the remote is there. The air moves nicely, even at lower levels. Sitting 10 ft away, I've got a really nice breeze on level 2. It's almost silent on levels 1 and 2. Level 3 starts to get a little audible...about the same as my air purifier, which is very quiet. Level 6 is obviously louder, but not "noisy." If you have it at level 6, don't have any loose papers in the airflow's path or you'll be chasing them around the room! Almost feels like an old Maxell commercial, if you're old enough to remember that! Man, I like this fan so much, I almost wish I needed more. I initially thought the price was a little high, but its design, functionality, ease of setup, ease of use make it totally worth every bit. Dreo - if you're listening - Well Done! ... show more

Big fan of the Dreo. This is a must have product. I waited 3 weeks to submit review b/c I had to be happy with this fan. All I can say is this tower fan by Dreo is super quiet, and I am extremely pleased with air flow. The Dreo has 6 levels of air speed and I have never had to go above level 3. I have a one bedroom apt, and air conditioner works fine but the point I am trying to make is I use my Dreo more than the AC. I keep fan in my bedroom and I can turn off AC and fan cools room, room temperature is great. No complaints. Great price and great product. Final comments: I suppose if you have a large house then 2 or 3 of these might be a great addition, ditto for large apartment, but for me—-my Dreo keeps me comfortable in my 1 bedroom. Also there are two models out there I chose model# DR-HTF001, the other model is more expensive etc. Assembly was easy ( 15-20 minutes ) batteries are supplied for remote control.     • Solid Fan with Stellar Customer Service! Plus, You Don’t Need That Extra Warranty!

Purchased in April 2023, and let me tell you, this fan was a game-changer for me and my husband during the summer. Living in the South means our 'warm months' last longer than most, so this fan got quite the workout. The Good: Oscillation feature? Chef’s kiss! Both my husband and I could enjoy the breeze, and we never had to argue about fan positioning! (A win for marital harmony!) Levels 1 and 2 are whisper-quiet, which is perfect for being able to focus and get work done. Above that, it’s less “quiet whisper” and more “efficient wind tunnel,” but hey, it does move a lot of air. Alexa, meet my fan! Setting it up with Alexa was so simple that I felt like a tech genius. The Dreo App also worked seamlessly, so we could control the fan without getting up from our desks. Laziness achieved. Telling Alexa "Turn of Fan" also achieves the same result once you set up that routine. The Not-So-Good: Fast forward to August 2024, and it suddenly sounded like a jet engine revving up in my office. The oscillation? Yeah, that decided to retire early. It was like the fan was trying to tell us, 'I've had enough.' Turns out, the plastic piece for the oscillation feature gets a little tired. The fan still works, but you can kiss that side-to-side action goodbye. The Great (No, Seriously!): But here’s where Dreo wins the gold medal. When I registered the fan after purchasing, it extended my warranty until 2028! No need to buy that extra Amazon warranty, folks, just head to Dreo’s website. When the fan started acting up, I found my warranty confirmation and contacted their customer service. Tina (aka my fan hero) responded quickly. After a couple of emails, they shipped me a brand new fan—no questions asked, and I didn’t even have to send the broken one back! Bonus: Tina confirmed that the replacement fan carries the same warranty as the original one. So even if this fan decides to take an early retirement, I’ll still be covered until 2028. Bottom Line: Despite the hiccup with the oscillation feature, I’d still recommend this fan because Dreo stands behind their product. It’s reliable (until it isn’t), but when it isn’t, they make it right without any extra costs to you. And you’ll probably get a whole new fan before you need to start looking for another one. ... show more
