I deducted a star because I’ve only had it since November and even though I cook with it often, it is gently cared for — it’s already chipped and stained and the lid never fit flush. I think that’s more the integrity of the product and material than anything but I could be wrong. I love it still and use the heck out of it, but it is a little annoying having to be mega cautious with it. This is a cute little pot good for breads and 2-3 bowls worth of soup. I seldom choose things for her because almost always she does not like it , so she chooses her own stuff. Well, it was a big hit and she was actually surprised. Everything she has cooked in it has turned out really well . It is very well made and looks super . In fact we already have a bigger 6.5qt blue enameled Lodge Dutch oven that also works and looks excellent . After carefully examining both of them it looks like they both came from the same factory . When deciding to buy it I was concerned that since it was being sold by a “ trendy designer “ type outfit that it might be a little on the flimsy side.
