With so few reviews, I was hesistant on buying this chair. But I’m so glad I did. This chair is super cute, and just the right size and style I was looking for. It looks and feels very sturdy, and the material is soft and a beautiful color. Matching the walls in my home office almost perfectly, which is what I was going for. The chair itself arrived with a small gouge in the wood of the base, but not noticeable unless someone planned on crawling around underneath it. The base was packaged very well, so I’m assuming the gouge came from the manufacturer like that. The package shipped right away, but still arrived later than my original arrival date. However, I still feel I received it in an adequate timeframe. As far as comfort, the chair is lovely to sit in for the first few hours, but I wouldn’t choose to hang out in it all day. If I had to be at my desk all day, I’d probably add a pillow to prevent stiffness. Overall, very pleased with the product. And it was incredibly simple to put together; it took me longer to unpack it from the box than it did to put it together. I’ve only been using it a few days, so I’m yet to determine how well it’ll hold up over time (as far as the cushion and comfort level). But if you’re looking for a classy, cozy chair that has a retro flair to it, then you should buy it too. ... show more

There seems to not be enough padding in this chair. I wish I had listened to the other reviews that said this, but I initially figured I weigh probably 105 pounds at 5'3, so I didn't think padding would be an issue. I was very wrong, I have to put a padded cushion atop the original cushion or else my whole body hurts since I use it at least 7 hours a day for my WFH job. It's a very cute chair, it's a shame it's so uncomfortable. It hurts my back and neck as well, and I'm only 22 years old (albeit with horrible posture). If I were sitting in it for 30 minutes to play solitaire or something, it'd be great, but for work, video games, etc it is not at all ideal and the cushion will be flat after first use, even if you're light as a feather and think it won't. You also can't add more cushion without destroying it, as it is actually decently upholstered aside from the cushion so you can't just remove the bottom cushion. You'd need to cut a very obvious slit in the seat and stuff it with padding and somehow stitch it up again. So, I do not recommend this chair unless you are considering it for a decorative desk area, a dining chair maybe, or an extra chair for very temporary houseguests. This is a comfy chair but it's lowest position is rather high- so much so that the tops of my legs hit the underside of my desk and my desk is of normal height. I'll have to see about getting a shorter lift cylinder OR find a way to add height to my desk. Other than that, it's beautiful, sturdy and comfy. UPDATE: I purchased leg extenders for my desk that raised it about two inches and it's perfect. I have absolutely loved this chair for all the time I've had it (some years now). In fact, the only reason I'm here updating my old review is I was recommending this chair to a friend who is re-doing her den and we were scrolling through all the reviews when I came across this one. ... show more

I was looking for a different office chair that wasn't ugly, provided the right amount of support for the back problems I have and also has comfortable arm rests. This chair is the perfect solution after looking at hundreds of options. Like everyone else's review, the box was a mess when it arrived but the chair was fine and it took me minutes to put together. I would have bought more of these if they came in different colors. I use it for a 10 hour work day and think it's a perfect solution and very comfortable the whole time. Also, came with support information in case you need replacement parts down the road-unheard of these days. Not for those big and sturdy guys, neither my husband nor my two adult sons could use it, it's not wide enough. ... show more

The chair arrived quickly and was very well packaged. Putting the chair together took me all of 10 minutes, and that is including making two trips up the stairs to carry the parts into my study. The chair is soft and VERY comfortable. I can't really get the tilt function to work, but I never use it anyway so I'm not worried about it. NOTE: The chair is on the small side. I'm 5'2" and about 120 lbs, and the chair fits me just fine. But when I invited my husband to try it out, he (6'2", 210 lbs) looked like he was sitting in a kids chair! So I got this chair because it had decent reviews and was in my budget but it has truly been a waste of money. The chair is relatively easy to put together but it’s nearly impossible to fix as a result. More importantly, it will break in less than a year and for a chair that costs more than $300 that’s the dumbest thing in the world.
