So i was thinking about getting this headrest and I wasn’t sure just because of the price but birthday came and I thought it would be a nice gift to myself since i sit in my chair at least 10 hours a day and it wasn’t a bad idea Here is a list of things i liked about it - dynamic and flexible so basically i kept adjusting it till i found the right position for my head and nick and I believe i succeeded it does take a little bit of time just to know how exactly it has to be set but eventually i figured it out and i was happy of the amount of settings and adjustability it can offer - safe for the chair : i was concerned while am installing it it will damage my chair which cost me ALOT of money but it looks like the company did thought about that and provided some instructions and tools to keep the chair safe - comfortable: i can say having a place to rest my head was definitely needed i use my computer a lot and while looking at my monitors and reading or reviewing something it is the best place for my head however while actually typing i do see myself not using it as much just because of how i lean forward towards the monitors and the keyboard Nice to mention: i did like the hook on the back although it feels like you can use it for your headphones but I didn’t honestly get the courage to do that yet however i used to have my jacket laying on the back of my chair and now it has a nice hook for it and i do like that Things to be improved: - the chair did come with instructions (paper instructions ) but I didn’t find that very helpful what I really liked is the video they linked in the instructions for me i like see how something needs to be installed instead of reading it , it could be me I don’t know but I didn’t find the paper that helpful - it does take some time to find the exact right position for it based on my height and how i like to set in my chair can’t really blame the company for that but just keep in mind that you need to use it for some time and keep adjusting it till you find the sweet spot At the end i am not regretting buying it and it is definitely a keeper Thank you ... show more

Doesn’t really match the quality of the chair. It works as it’s supposed to but it hooks on the top of the backrest. It naturally moves when you lay your head on it because the hook is resting on the backrest cushion. It’s hard to get it adjusted as well because you can’t reach the adjustments while sitting on the chair. ... show more

The build quality is pretty good, the headrest itself is very solid. The problem is that the design itself and especially how it attaches to the chair is horrible, the headrest easily shifts side to side. The headrest is very much the style where you have to put your head against it with no option to adjust to support the curve of your neck. You might justify ignoring these issues if it was a more competitive price, but it costs as much as the headrest from Atlas. I originally went with this one because Atlas had a backlog and this could ship immediately but it was not worth it. Edit: forgot to mention the upholstery. Its available in some fabrics Atlas doesn't carry that used to be on the Embody which is good. However, the cushioning underneath the fabric is far worse, way too dense for a headrest to the extent it barely compresses. ... show more

My son is 6ft tall and often has issues getting comfortable in desk/computer/gaming chairs without having to slouch. This made it much more comfortable for him to sit upright and not feel like his head was falling off the chair if he wanted to lean back.

Head rest could probably work for anyone that is > 6' but being 5'9 It is not comfortable. Lowering the headrest to accommodate my size it pushes the headrest forward which is incredibly uncomfortable. It moves A LOT. The tilting part of the head rest has no locking function even while tightened all the way. This cause a lot of discomfort and constantly having to re-adjusting it to be in as comfortable a place I can get it to. ... show more

Pros: - Item arrived on time - Headrest matches my chair very well - Instructions looked very simple overall - Headrest is secured firmly to the chair and I was able to position it fairly comfortably - The little headphones notch on the back is a nice touch - I was concerned it may not work well at my height (6'2+) but it appears to be just fine Cons: - Instructions referenced materials that were not quite what was provided (ie plastic gear stated but metal gear given) - Instructions could use more detailed diagrams. I had to trial and error how a couple things fit because it was not clear. I believe I I eventually assembled it properly - Actual headrest part that touches my head feels a bit cheap. The material creaks a bit when moving my head around, almost like peeling glue or some other adhesive. This may go away over time. Overall I think it will work well for me ... show more
