These wheels are so much quieter and smoother rolling than the old plastic wheels. These wheels must have ball bearings in them which is why they roll so easily. They are quiet on hardwood bamboo floors and don't seem to scratch the finish on my hardwood floors like the plastic rollers unfortunately did. I think some of it had to do with them picking up dirt and grinding it into the floor, thus ruining the finish. These wheels might pick up a little bit of dirt but not nearly as much as the plastic wheels. These seem like decent quality for the price. ... show more

Fit perfectly, needed wheel for work office chair, normally get 3’ rollerblade singles, these were slightly cheaper on sale , figured would try different design. Better weight distribution, so smoother roll, less bumpy on cracks/ridges in fake wood floor. Does not work w unsecured office mats, binds and drags. Soft wheels have more give , creates effect of cushy & sturdy seat. Seller awesome, -1star for height + 1 Star for performance, I really like 3in single wheels, if those were not an alternative , would use these. ... show more

If you have hardwood floors, these are a must. They roll so easy and smoothly. They don’t seem to pick up the debris like the hard plastic ones do. Easy to switch out, these are stout and well-made.

So, I have suffered a saga involving these wheels which is not entirely their fault, but their shortness figures in. I installed them on a new office chair base, but the gas cylinder poking through the chair's base could actually touch the floor because these wheels are so short and the base was not angled very steeply - I am also very heavy, which didn't help, but the base and the gas cylinder were rated for 1,000 lbs and I ain't that heavy! In any event, I would only recommend using these wheels if your chair has a base that angles down between where the cylinder sits to where the casters socket in of at least three or four inches difference in elevation unless you are hummingbird-light. Installing them was easy, as was removing them since I had to swap them to two other chair bases. They are visually attractive and they are quite quiet on a tiled floor, much less noisy than my previous hard plastic casters. ... show more

    • Solid Perfection for BDE Gaming Chair Users

I have a lot of BDE. I also have a Kasorix big and tall gaming chair (I'm a big dude). Because my chair is large and roomy, my wife likes to join me in my chair. Without getting into the details, sooner than later, I had to replace the casters. (I'll leave you to do the math to how we got here). *wink, wink* So when I sought to get decent casters for my chair, I came upon these bad boys. I love the clear & black design. However, it was the fact that these had much greater weight support (2000 lbs) and the dual rubber wheel design (better for a smoother rolling experience) that sold me. Besides, my BDE is not going away. I need all the smooth I can get. Did I mention how QUIET these things are? They roll SILENTLY. One might say TOO quietly. It's black magic how quiet these things are! It's probably because of the rubber wheels. Lazy Ninjas could use these in their office chairs to go on assassination missions! I'm not even kidding! Did I mention how SMOOTH these things are? Rolling in my chair feels like gliding on butter (or sailing on a whisp of air). I can glide across my living room and poke my wife on her shoulder without her even hearing me coming. The rubber wheels are SUPER sturdy and feel dense, solid, weighty and well-made. They do not scuff my hard ceramic floor. I'm definitely going to get an extra set just because. Listen, if you're looking to replace the casters on your gaming chair, your big and tall chair or your executive or home office chair, THESE ARE THE ONES TO GET. They are super easy to replace. Just get a flathead screwdriver and nudge the existing caster bolts out and pop these in. These will also work for most office chairs, especially (but not exclusively) those that originally come with dual wheel caster design. You can stop searching now. Go ahead and buy with confidence.     • Easy to install and a huge difference

I have bamboo hardwood floors and the stock plastic wheels were chewing it up. These were easy to install. I simply pulled the other ones off and put these in. The chair runs much smoother and should not scuff up the floor.
