Pull the old wheels off, push these in, presto! My chair sits on medium pile carpet and the difference in how it rolls is night and day. It no longer feels like it's going to tear up the carpet and glides far more easily. I can't recommend highly enough.

I'm attached to my chair. It seems to have shaped itself to my bottom and we've become BFFs. But its plastic casters, as smooth as they rolled, were leaving an ugly black circle on my floor. When the custodians came to strip and wax the floors of our building, the head lady told me I needed rubber casters. I read reviews after reviews for days before I settled on these. I'm not sure if it was because the reviews were so good or if I was exhausted from the uncertainty of making a decision. BUT these casters have changed my life. They are a little taller than my old ones, so I sit up higher on my desk - bonus! And they are ridiculously smooth. They roll in unison in whatever direction I demand.
