After having 2 sets of the single wheeled office chair wheel upgrades fail, and because of the nature of HOW they failed (with their mounting brackets bending over sideways - so the chair would no longer align the wheels to easily roll in different directions), I decided to give these a try - and so far they've been great! The 2 wheel design can't "bend sideways" when pushed in a perpendicular direction - so will hopefully always be able to align themselves to new orientations when my chair is pushed in different directions. I had one of five wheels that didn't match the others. It was OK but a little wobbly. I needed to figure out where to find wheels to fit my chair brand. "Fits most brands" was worth a try. I've had my office chair for over seven years, but I've always been hesitant to replace it because it's basically broken in just right at this point. Unfortunately, the wheels were causing issues not only on my rug under my desk, but my wood flooring as well. I thought I'd switch to castor wheels instead, and it has been a game-changer. These wheels are so slick and smooth. I got them because I have solid wood floors that I do not want to mess up with hard plastic wheels my chair came with. The only issue I have is that my floor has a slight slope so the chair can tend to drift toward one side of the room. But that is not the wheels fault. I would recommend these to anyone who like smooth quiet castors and wants to protect a nice floor. If you are on carpet or rugs these might not have much benefit. ... show more
