  • Nice shower chair overall
Bought this shower chair and some of the screws were missing - contacted Ivy in their Customer Service Dept. She sent the missing pieces quickly. Great customer service and a very nice shower chair…strong, easy to maneuver and safe. The cheaper $$ chairs are horribly made and the chairs that cost twice as much as this one aren’t much different in style/quality. Satisfied with this purchase. ... show more

  • Misleading description, unfortunately
I was so looking forward to receiving this shower/commode wheelchair. I have multiple sclerosis and have lost a good amount of mobility. I need something like this to gain some independence back. Sadly, the chair needed to be returned immediately. Both the text description and the illustration measurements shown are false. This shower/commode/wheelchair is NOT 22" at it's widest! It is much wider and will not clear a 24" bathroom doorway. The whole purpose for purchasing was the 'claimed' narrow 22" width. Also, one footrest doesn't stay put. The mount is misaligned. The positives: it seems strong enough for average adult use, most of it's assembly was OK and the wheels moved well on smooth, hard surfaces. There is no way I would use this chair outside the home. The hassle of assembling, disassembling and returning this is truly disheartening. A major pain in the dupa. Thumbs down on seller's misinformation! Thumbs up to Amazon for ease of return! ... show more

  • Ther customer service does not respond when you have a problem!
We ordered this for my husband to use in our remodeled shower. He is a post polio survivor, who can no longer walk. The foot rest on the left side will not stay up and never did when assembled. It comes down and hits him on the top of his foot when he transfers from the shower chair to his wheelchair. My husband contacted OasisSpace at there web site 9 days ago. They have not responded. They leave no customer service number on there web site; so, you cannot call them either. For the money that we paid for it, we expected better service. ... show more

  • Completely Rusted in less than 8 months
The chair was great and comfortable for the first six months until it started rusting. I tried using anti rust spray and cleaning it off but no matter what the rust kept coming back. It is now at the point where the left wheel will not even rotate and is seeming like it will break off any day now. Truly scary if you think about potential for falling and breathing in shower humidity with rust contamination. ... show more

  • Useful, but not the most comfortable
This chair is useful as a shower chair, but should not be advertised as usable as a wheelchair. It is very uncomfortable, the base is very hard and it has exposed screw caps coming off the arm rest which needs to be covered with a cloth to avoid poking the patient. It is not the easiest chair to navigate over thresholds. We use it only to shower my husband. ... show more

Hard to roll without help but candi just hard

  • Poor manuverability, and very uncomfortable
The front wheels will not easily go over even the smallest threshold. And as others have said, the seat has no pitch, and you feel like you will fall forward and out of the chair. I hate this shower chair. I'm just going to use it as an expensive dolly/cart.
