Features

  • 2" soft wheel caster with 3/8" x 1" grip ring stem. Don't eyeball and assume you have 3/8". Use a caliper. We have some returns due to customer assuming the size and end up wrong. Measure twice will save you time and hassle.
  • There are three different sizes of grip ring stems and they are all very close if you eyeball it. Make sure yours is 3/8" diameter by using a caliper.
  • Soft wheel will not scratch hardwood floor. Exceeds BIFMA quality. Rated at 90 lbs per caster.
  • 5 casters / pack.

After much searching for castors for my 30+ years old Steelcase chair, I found them at Oajen's on Amazon. Got them by using their Express shipping for an extra dollar more. I purchased three different sets of casters for my SteelCase chair that claimed to have a 3/8" x 1" grip ring stem. None of them fit because they were all 10mm which is .39 inch stems instead 3/8" which is only .375 inches. These really do have a 3/8" stem are a perfect fit.

These casters are a great solution for Steelcase chairs being used on hardwood flooring as the smaller stem size fits like the original casters.

    • Good replacement casters for hard floors
Good product; just what I needed for a 28 year old Steelcase office chair. Steelcase used a 3/8" diameter by 1" long stem on these chairs. It seems that most casters use a larger diameter and slightly shorter stem. I was very happy to find these Oajen casters. I ordered the 2" wheels; I probably should have ordered the 2-3/8" wheels since the 2" are slightly smaller than the original Steelcase wheels, but the 2" are fine for my needs. These were bought to replace 40+ year old casters on dining room chairs from the 70s. They fit perfectly and work very well.
