  • Saved a ton of time and hassle
Using this in conjunction with Hylomar made the job go much quicker. No waiting and praying for the RTV to cure properly, just dose both sides of the gasket with Hylomar and go. It's been on for months now and there are no leaks.

  • Great option besides the OEM way
Working great so far. This is by far the best option besides what they use at the dealer. Easy to put on and so far no leaks.

  • Works as it should - 2017 Promaster 2500
Got this with the dorman transmission pan with the drain plug. Lot of discussion about using gasket sealant vs this. I followed the torque specs and 6 months later I haven't had any leaks. This will be far easier to replace than scraping off old gasket goo every time.

  • Well packaged fiber gasket (not rubber)
I will soon be changing the transmission fluid on my 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan. I bought this gasket to forego using gasket sealant as the pan is sealed originally from the factory. This appears to be a fiber gasket as opposed to a rubber type which is supplied with some of the after market filters. I believe that this fiber type gasket is a better choice if you decide to use a gasket (versus sealant only). After reading many reviews of after market filters that come with a gasket (some don't). It seems that the gaskets supplied with those filters are not sealing properly in many cases. The reason is the rubber type gaskets tend to compress when over tightened or tightened to what is considered spec which is ~9 ftlbs. I will be updating this review good or bad once I actually complete the fluid/fliter change (I ordered a Mopar filter and it has not arrived yet. ... show more

  • Fits perfectly
Replaced factory goo gasket that was leaking with this, replaced the transmission filter and fluid since I had it apart. Be sure to measure what you remove. I did mine cold and needed 5.5 qts to get it back to the recommendation hot level. Get the dipstick, filter, and a long skinny funnel to make your life easier. Also follow the heat up process to make sure fluid level is good. ... show more
