Comfortable... ...easy to forget I have it on. The short take: This appears to be of quality materials and workmanship. This is a full/closed sleeve type of brace; there are no further adjustments that can be made (no tightening or closure straps, etc). Not hot; as I said, comfortable, seems to breath well. I will use these in rotation with the other braces I've ordered as appropriate for the need/pain/duties. The longer take: Now I've ordered five different types of braces for my arm that is presenting with tendonitis above the elbow. Except for one other sleeve type, all the others I've ordered have velcro (like) straps that tighten and create a sleeve once joined and tightened. Some have an additional thick layer of foam or cushion that you position on the arm/area of pain. There is no additional cushion or foam layer/s in this brace, but there is the gel ring that sort of circles your elbow. The "dual stabilizers" are flexible and do not create an uncomfortable resistance when moving; they might even be considered "more sizzle than steak". Without straps or buckles or whatever, to get in your way or get caught on, this allows for a wee bit better freedom of movement and there's nothing to jab into your skin like the buckles or velcro sometimes can. Okay....if I'm being *really* picky look at image number 1 and mouse down to the bottom of the brace (it will magnify). There is a seam (at top and bottom) of the sleeve and the way that it's sewn (zig-zag) and the overlay itself leaves an impression on my skin. It does *not* pick or itch or bother me otherwise. I've worn it just around the house doing tasks and lifting heavy stuff and I find it to be helpful in that context. Here's the thing though; of the five types I've ordered and used, NONE of them completely eliminates sudden *shock* pain, and that includes this one. All of them, including this one, manage or minimize pain. I like having this style, but I also see the need for being able to apply more pressure to the area on some occasions. That to say, I like this type *and* the strap type depending on the level of pain I'm experiencing on a given day. In any case, glad I ordered. I hope this review has been helpful and enables you to make an informed purchase decision. I rarely give an overall 5 star rating. ... show more

I've been suffering from tennis elbow and decided to start wearing these when I play. What a life saver. Usually after an afternoon of moderate play my left elbow aches A LOT. Well since I started playingwith this compression sleeve the after match and day after pain is dramatically reduced. My only complaint is that the material is not very breathable so I end up sweating through this over the course of 2 hours. At least you can put it in the washing machine afterwards! ... show more

My wife and I are in our 70s. We live in a very beautiful, but also very rural area in the mountains of West Virginia. While we do have a pharmacy here, if we need something medically related, it either is not in stock or costs a lot. The nearest real town is a two hour round trip drive. In the winter, that can be difficult or impossible. Being an old sailor, I believe in being prepared, thus we have created our own medical equipment box. This is complete with braces, bandages, canes, you name it. Thus when (not if) we need something to help us in the event of a fall, we have a good chance of having it. This fits directly in our medical equipment box and we know it is there if we need it. While doing something like this may not fit in most people’s lifestyle, for many others it can be a huge help. About 2 weeks after we got this elbow brace, I doinked my right arm. This worked perfectly for the injury. Note: I have been an Amazon customer for almost 20 years. I write all of my reviews to reflect my personal observations and opinions on a product. It matters not if I have purchased the item myself or if it was provided to me for review. My goal is to provide other potential customers as much real-world knowledge as possible to make an informed decision. In some cases I will return to my review in 6 months or less to see if I should alter my original observations. In no case will the cost of a product influence my opinions at all. As others said it does have a bit of a smell and will need to air out. After a day it was fine, and the gel really does a great job of isolating the elbow and limiting the movement. You can still force it to move how you want but it isn’t easy to do, that way you are much less likely to hurt yourself! Other than the smell it is a very functional elbow brace! ... show more

The CAMBIVO elbow brace works pretty well so far. The quality seems like any other elbow brace you can buy at your local Target or Walmart. It fits my arm just fine, based on the measurement advice given. The gel pad around the elbow is nice to protect and stabilize your elbow and keep everything tight, relieving stress on your elbow joints.
