I have tendonitis in my wrist below my thumb. It's excruciating. I knew I needed something, but wanted something that would stabilize my wrist without being bulky. This little splint is a keeper. I read reviews talking about it making the web of the hand sore, and it did the first night I wore it. I found that if you loosen it a little it won't cause irritation and it will still provide great support. You can also tighten and loosen it throughout the day according to your activities and support needs or to accommodate any swelling you may have. I wear it pretty much 24/7 with no problems. It's well made, doesn't restrict the fingers, and supports and stabilizes where I need it to. It has 2 side supports running from the thumb down along the top and bottom of the wrist (kind of like a wishbone) which works much better for tendonitis than a plate running down the palm and wrist. It says it’s universal…for both hands. However, it is definitely made to fit your right hand better. It gaps a bit in the back on my left because it is designed for the right hand with a padded palm (area for the right). It does the trick, but I’m constantly trying to straitened it across the back of my left hand. Much smoother across the back of my right hand. I wish it was made specific for each. ... show more

This is so easy to put on and give me use of my left hand. I wear this support mostly all day except when I’m cooking or doing something crafty..love it..when I take it off my hand feels like it did when I was younger/stronger.

This one is very stiff yet comfortable too. It has lasted much longer than the other I got from drugstores. it is heavyweight, but not like the really heavy support types that immobilize the entire wrist by going farther up the forearm.
