I purchased this to heat water for my morning coffee. While it is pretty and it does work for that purpose, it could be better. Just a little more attention to the balance and the handle would turn it into a terrific item. What I like, I like that it is large enough to use for cooking soups but again, it is all about the handle and the balance. Perhaps smaller version would have been a better choice. ... show more

I decided to purchase the norpro krona 12 cup pot after trying it while having a stay at Sonesta Simply Suites in California. This pot was one of the cooking items supplied at Sonesta. We like the convenience of draining the water after cooking the food. Very nice. Upon returning home, I ordered one from Amazon for use at home.     • Perfect for my needs
I needed something I could boil water in but had a spout, a wide mouth, and wasn’t too big or too small. This product fit the bill perfectly. I use it every day and it’s easy to clean the hard water build up off of it. I highly recommend this product.

Great pot it has my go-to. I like how there are measurements marked on the inside, and the strainers built into the lid have rigged the need for me to use a separate strainer, saving on cleanup. The base is think and makes the heart even. It also makes sauteing easy, so one put meals are that much easier, and the whole pot can go into the oven, which is one more plus ... show more
