Just received these sheaths, purchased after reading reviews for various options. It fits perfectly, the tip does not stick out at the end and the felt helps it slide in smoothly. This knife is the sharpest I've ever owned and definitely needs to be kept covered when not in use to protect it and me.

I put off reviewing for a long time because I hesitate to leave poor reviews. I did finally discover a modification that made this an acceptable product. Because of the shape of the handle of the very popular Victorinox knife, this guard does not completely cover the heel of the blade. It left about half an inch of the sharpened blade exposed. But by trimming the the blade guard with some heavy snips it did ultimately provide full coverage. Even so, the guard does not grip the blade all that well, but it's okay for basic kitchen use. ... show more

Have two knives that didn’t fit the block. Using these helps to protect the blades and prevent accidents. Very sturdy and are quite durable. I was looking into making sheaths for them when I located these! Good value in time and material to make, PLUS they’re lined!
