Instructions were not useful for additional information about linking lights or cutting them. Says you can reattach lights after cutting but does not tell you how. I ordered these for my bedroom and got the 100ft length because it says you can cut one strip and reconnect/reconfigure it to your liking, just not expand the length. I cut the one strip where it's required and used the connector and the one side I cut that isn't connected to the main power source but on the other end of the connector doesn't light up. Don't know what I did wrong but the cut ends do not work with the connectors for me. I ordered another box unfortunately...lol not going to cut these and hope everything else works. Update - I moved these lights to my bathroom since the strips have now been cut shorter and I can get them to work upon reconnection so they work great for what I need. However I mainly purchased these because I love the pink color which does not show at all when you hit the pink button -it lights up an off white. However when you use the "fade" option on the remote, the Pink color shows so I don't get it. Update 2/9/2023: If you download the IllumiLight App, you get more color choice vs. the remote.     • Great lights but directions need to be better

Great lighting but the directions could use a little more direction. They are very vague. HOWEVER. I emailed the support team and they go back to me within hours and helped me trouble shoot it and if they cannot fix it they would’ve replaced it no questions.

I bought these before Halloween, and just began installing them yesterday. I spent hours setting them up just right, and was pleased with the result. However, this afternoon, they stopped working. I figured out that it was due to a faulty control box. I'm going to reach out to the company & will update this review accordingly. UPDATE: I contacted Amazon and the seller, and seller was helpful & immediately sent a replacement. However, the control box in the replacement set was the wrong one.
