Two rolls are included to get you started, one 8.6" x 9.85" roll and one 11.8"x 9.85" roll. The NESCO Deluxe Vacuum Sealer is compatible with any brand of vacuum sealer bags. It took me a while to really learn how to use this but once I did it works great. The seal is prefect and really protects meat from freezer burn. We safe a lot of money buying meats in bulk and use this to repackage them in right portions. Would be good for about anything

Use the daylights out of this thing and its held up well. A little finicky sometimes with bags but overall I always find a way to get a good seal. Its a nice piece of equipment. Just don't store it with the latch closed, it can warp the seal.

Seals so much better than the FoodSaver I've had for a few years. After having packages in hand side-by-side from both machines, the Nesco definitely pulled more vacuumed and it feels "tighter." A package of asparagus I sealed 6 weeks ago looks the same as the day I froze it and it's just as green. I haven't had a chance to test durability long-term yet but the packages appear to have a solid double seal and no reason to think it would fail at this point. ... show more
