This mat is typical thickness. Not the heaviest I’ve seen, but not thin either. The interchangeable hitting pad is a nice feature but it does not sit flush with the rest of the mat so be careful to place the ball on the forward portion of the hitting area so that you do not hook your club on it. Strange that the holes for the rubber tees are on the opposite side of the removable hitting pad so one would need to rotate the entire mat if they wanted to alternate driver to iron for instance. I just use the include rubber tees on top of the mat instead of sticking them through the holes. Took a few days for the mat to flatten out from shipping. ... show more

Great product for practicing at home and the value compared to others is really good. I’ve use this for about nine months now, the size is great. The christening is good. It feels really sturdy and so far it’s holding up well. It feels very stable on concrete. I have used it with irons and drivers, and tees and no tees. This isn't a con, but It came rolled in a box so I used some heavy weights to hold the map down until it stays flat. Great value. ... show more
