Very cool that you have two types of simulated sand - a stiffer, more compact sand (white) - where the ball sits up a bit, and the softer "sand" where the ball sits low (yellow). It was decent to practice on and felt pretty realistic. I really enjoy using it, but there are couple issues. The first is that it is on a hard and lifted surface. As you are supposed to really hit below the ball from a sand trap, my club would "bottom out" or hit the surface sometimes. That hard bottom also raises where the ball is. It is like playing from a an uphill lie. Last thing is the price. While it comes with a towel and a keyring, unless you really dedicated to practicing and you don't have any place close by (and assuming you have space at your home), I feel $99.99 is a bit overpriced for this. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The A-ONE Golf Performance Chipping Training mat is an okay product. It has a few problems though. Pros: 1. Good for “sand” practice. 2. Once I buried it into the ground, it did give me a good “sand trap” feel. Cons: 1. The item sits too high off the ground making it hard to take a full club. 2. Must choke up on the club to swing. 3. I had to bury it into the ground to get it to the proper height. Unless you have a backyard driving range like I have, you will not get a good feel for getting out of a bunker. It is a good product, just not made for a “real feel”. I give this item a 3.3-star rating for the video and a 3-star rating online. ... show more
