Look at the comparison between the brightness of this floaty versus the dark one the other kids were wearing. Bright green allows you to spot your child easier. The crotch rope eliminates the possibility of it slipping off. The back highlighter green strap allows for the child to be pulled to safety. It fit in my luggage. The fact that it has the additional rope attached whistle was ideal-one Caviot- when the whistle is wet it does not work well. We had my son practice in the lake (see above pictures) and he couldn’t blow the whistle successfully-which is the whole point. That needs a bit of an update. ... show more

Perfect for my 4-year-old son with enough room for him to grow. This will be the only vest I will need to buy till he learns to swim. The handle on the top back of the vest is great for picking him up out of pool also. The attached whistle is great for emergencies.

My 4yr old is very tall for his age. He is too big for a child’s life jacket but too small for a youth when fitting him at the selection in Walmart. This one fits perfectly plus it has the crotch straps so I know it’s not going to slip off. He wore it for about 5 hours on our boat ride and never complained. He loved the whistle too. We have not float tested this jacket yet due to low temperatures but I am sure it will do nicely. ... show more
