I bought this for a 55 inch TV and mounted it all the way around on the back just a couple of inches from the outer edge. The corners require a loop to make the 90 degree bend which consumes about 2 to 3 inches per bend. This 13.1 foot kit just made it around starting at the side of the cutout for where the base goes and going all the way around to the starting point. The kit seemed a bit shy of the advertised 13.1 foot length, maybe it's 12.7 foot, so allow for that in your measurements. I also bought the 9.8 foot kit for a 43 inch TV and mounted it all the way around on the back just a couple of inches from the outer edge. The 9.8 foot kit made it around starting at the side of the cutout for where the base goes and going all the way around to other side of the cutout. I had a couple of feet left over which I trimmed off at an indicated cut point. The main thing I like about this kit is the price and that the circuit strip has a black background so it blends in with the TV shell. The remote works well but if you have these kits on more than one TV, then any remote operates all of the strips at the same time. This is good if you are using more than one kit on one TV, but not so much if you have one kit on each TV in different rooms. This can be overcome by using the "duoCo Strip" phone app which is able to differentiate between strip sets for commands. You do that by disabling one TV strip under "My Devices", make changes on the one you want, then enable other TV strip again. It's tricky since you can't name the TV links, but it can be done. However if you use the remote again after that it undoes whatever the app did. The color is good, but there is nothing that could be remotely considered white. The set is strictly RGB so it makes white by turning on all three colors to maximum which is supposed to yield white. But the blue band of the color spectrum has much more ability to transmit so it overrides the red and green and you get a bright pale blue instead of white. For the price, that's okay with me, but when I get my 4K TV to replace my current 55 inch TV, I will opt for a true RGB-W chipset strip. Those have true white LED chips in addition to the RGB chips so for white it turns those on and the RGB chips are turned off. The true RGB-W sets ("true" meaning it does in fact have separate white chips) tend to be in the $30, $40 and higher range. If you don't care about real white, then this set is great. The photo with the black screen shows the white light color. All-in-all I'm happy with the set, the quality and the especially price point. ... show more

These LED lights are amazing! The colors are all very vibrant and there’s different setting options to choose from. I personally think the best feature is the timer for the lights - there’s a 1, 2, and 3 hour timer where they’ll automatically turn off! There are so many colors and programming to these lights. Easy to install. Love the look and screen seems brighter with lights behind instead of in front of TV. Pricing is very nice as well!

I like it was easy to put on the back of the TV took about 6 minutes with the help of my husband I held it he pressed the sticky backing strip lights as I pulled the paper from the sticky side onto the TV. I keep it only on red so when you turn your tv back on it will be the color you choose if you want that to change you need to use the remote. ... show more

    • Great lights, just a few suggestions

First, I think the lights are great overall. Has multiple colors, and the app that you can download is good. Remote works great and the lights look great behind the tv and reduces eye strain in a darker environment. Really enhances the experience. Now a few suggestions: installing the lights was relatively easy but I would suggest to look up ways to make a loop at the corners for the instructions don't really do a lot for that. There are multiple you tube videos I watched to make it better. Lastly, I have a Toshiba tv and even when I turned the lights off and the tv off, the lights would turn off, but turned on automatically multiple times in a few minutes. I tried changing settings but could not find anything to alter this. So what I did is purchase a USB on/off extension switch on Amazon, hooked it to the bottom of the tv (mounted tv up higher) with a command strip,and it worked great. Now when I want the lights on I can flip the switch easily and then just flip it again when I get done watching. Not amazingly convenient for everyone probably, but definitely reduced the frustration of lights coming in for no reason. Overall, the lights are great, look great, and enhance the experience of watching TV in a darker environment. ... show more

I bought these lights and I installed them behind my 55 inch flatscreen TV before the installation. You need to wipe the area with a damp cloth with alcohol so that he’s a full stick if you have any dust or dirt that might not work as well. The lights come with the remote control, sound sensitive and other many options regarding speed brightness in the selection of lights. It definitely adds a lot of ambience and moved to whatever you watch it on TV. The price was very expensive. The delivery was quick and the installation was easy I highly recommend. ... show more
