I’ve only used it once so far but it did great. I’d give it 6 stars if it came with a side pouch to hold a phone and drink. It was easy to put together, rolled effortlessly up and down stairs to the beach and no problem going over sand. The wheels are supposed to face a certain direction- so maybe those with issues rolling in sand put them on backwards. It was also useful checking out of our hotel room. Pros 1. Easy assembly 2. Pushes easily 3. Holds up to 100 pounds as a cart 4. Holds 200 as a chair 5. When walking a distance on a Boardwalk or street, it is amazing to lack lots of supplies. 6. I thought the handle might be flimsily but it did very being pulled while loaded to the brim! 7. Handles stairs like a champ. While the wagon people struggled down and up stairs, I was able to get my chair cart up and down easier than they. 8. I loaded the following: 1 chair, 1 umbrella, 1 tent, 1 cooler, 2 beach bags, 1 beach table and towels. Cons While the big wheels helped, once we were in the deep fine powdery Gulf Shores sand, it did take some muscle to pull it when it was max full. (When I was only packing for me, it was t as hard.). Pros: all my beach gear fits in it. Easy to roll in the sand. Comfortable to sit in. Cons: while in chair mode a gust of wind came up and it started rolling away. When folded for storage the handle doesn’t lock down. It slides down but can expand easily. The pros outweigh the cons. It’s a little on the expensive side. ... show more

I purchased both, this Mac Sports Beach Cart Chair (I'll refer to it as "Mac Sports") as well as the Beach Cart Chair from EasyGo (I'll refer to it as "EasyGo") to do a comparison, I ultimately kept the Mac Sports Beach Chair Wagon. They both function quite similar, with the netting you insert inside the base of the Chair. I originally thought the full handle bar on the EasyGo would be better than the handle on the Mac Sports. However, even after you lock the bar into a position, it is quite flimsy at the locking mechanisms, making me think the bar might not handle a lot of weight. I originally thought the Mac Sports handle was a little over the top in its design, but now i get it. Therefore the Mac Sports handle wins. The EasyGo in chair mode actually sits a little higher off the sand/ground than the Mac Sports. If thats what you need, go with the EasyGo. The wheels are pretty much the same except for the way they are attached. The Mac Sports are bolted on with a nut so you can be confident the wheels are not going anywhere. The EasyGo uses a common mechanism in beach cart wheels which tells me you could potentially swap them for some pneumatic tires. However, I've had issues with the mechanism failing in past beach carts. Both chairs are comfy. Attaching the netting is way better in the Mac Sports, they color code the clips with the location where they attach (Black and Grey) so you can easily tell where they go. The EasyGo does not, so you gotta fumble with the netting to figure it out. Clearly, the Mac Sports is the clear winner, and was $30 cheaper when I bought it. ... show more

I don't typically write reviews, but this beach chair exceeded my expectations! It was VERY easy to "open" and set up, VERY easy to fold down, and very easy to pull on wheels, even in the sand. At one point our group of 4 had to park our car a bit further from the beach than planned, and we all threw our stuff (chairs, umbrellas, coolers, beach bags) into my beach "buggy" as opposed to having to make multiple trips in the 90-degree weather. It was basically effortless to pull ... a little harder in the sand with more weight, but still very do-able. I do have two suggestions (for the manufacturer and/or potential buyers): 1 - I really wanted an armrest pouch (for phone, drink, etc.) and this did not include one. I purchased this one (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BB9HP5H3?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) and it was perfect. 2 - I also really needed an umbrella to keep me protected from the sun. We have only been to the beach 1 time with this but we used it everyday while we were there. We loaded a cooler, 2 boogie boards, 2 beach chairs and almost everything else we needed for a day at the beach. We had to walk 3 blocks to the beach access point and across the white sandy beach of GulfShores Al. It was the longest walk we have ever had while at the Gulf but it was by far the easiest walk to the beach!! It was so nice to not have everyone carring a hand full of stuff. This chair was a great investment and it was so comfortable that we would love to buy another one but I'm not sure we could fit it in our car with everything else. The only drawback is that the wheels are so big it takes up a lot of space. But it was so worth it! If you are thinking about buying this, just do it you will not be sorry. It was very sturdy. And very easy to pull with quite a heavy load. Even across the sand. It did not bog down in the sand like other carts/wagons we have used. Just make sure you read the directions because the wheel's have to be turned correctly so it doesn't bog down into the sand. ... show more
