Bought this chair before a beach day with friends and luckily it arrived right before we left! It was incredibly easy to set up once i saw that there were only two main components: the metal base frame, and the hammock part which hooks onto the metal base frame. 5 stars for easy set up (and also easy putting away! I wrapped the hammock part around the metal frame and it slid easily into the carrying bag). I’m a very fidgety person in general so this chair is absolutely the most comfortable outdoor chair ive ever used. It became even more evident when as my friends were trying out my chair, and i sat in a different chair, i felt completely grounded and uncomfortable. It was at this moment i knew i had to write a review about this chair. Another thing that blows my mind is that this chair has adjustable seating angles! For my chair (the blue chair), it’s the orange straps by the arm rests that allow me to adjust from a nearly horizontal laying position, to a 90 degree sitting up position. I was literally telling my friend right before i found the straps “the only thing i dont like about this chair is that it’s hard to sit up in it” I will say its a bit tall, i had to assist my friends that were 5ft into the hammock lol. It’s been nearly a year since we bought these. Two baseball seasons later, and we still love them. Pros: These chairs are huge! Anyone can sit in them comfortably. Easy setup. These are the most comfortable chairs I’ve sat in. Cons: The bags are cheap. The bottoms of both bags are ripped through and almost don’t contain the chairs anymore. Note: we put them in the wagon to tote, so they aren’t even carried by the straps. Learning to sit in these and get up from sitting takes a bit of practice without almost falling. (Well worth the comfort, though.) For max comfort, we bought a camping foot rest. I’d probably buy these again, if I had to do it over. But, this chair could use some updates to make it sturdier to carry. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This portable hammock chair is just that! Portable and a hammock!! It’s sooo easy to set up and set up is super quick. Once it’s set up it’s easy to use, it’s sturdy, and my infant has taken over (with adult supervision, of course) my baby girl loves sitting outside, laying in this, listening to the birds and watching the trees! Mommy loves sitting in this, holding the baby watching my older children play. It’s extremely sturdy. I feel super safe sitting in it. It’s safe for my older kids and as long as I’m monitoring sitting right next to my baby I know she’s OK and she loves it. When putting away it’s extremely easy to fold up and put both the base and the swing/hammock inside the carry bag! It’s definitely worth the money. The one thing I wish it did have Is an Ottoman for my feet! ... show more

This is an updated review. After receiving and order of two chairs in which one had a defect, I was able to contact KING CAMP and they successfully replaced the set with perfect chairs. They are unique and comfortable and everyone in the family wants to sit in them!!!

I have used this chair for two seasons of softball and camping so far and I am still in love with it! The chair has held up very well between me and my family using it. I was a little worried about the adjustable straps wearing down over time and making it hard to keep the back up but it has been super easy to use and has stayed durable. Everyone who comes over has to try out this chair. It has a surprisingly sturdy frame, although it did take me a minute to realize where the pins are inserted. (The holes are on the vertical posts--that may be covered by the brackets until you push the brackets down further on the post). Once seated, the common response is, "Ohhhh. Yeahhhh." A foot rest, whether an ottoman, a stool, or just a large rock, increases the relaxation factor. A great place to sit and read or take a nap. Very supportive. ... show more

    • It disintegrates quickly from UV rays.

This chair disintegrated in two months of weekend camping in New Mexico, US. It does not hold up to UV rays at all. First, the edge stitching went bad and frayed off, then the straps gave way, tumbling me upside down on the ground. It’s now unusable. This would have been fine for a $15 Walmart chair. I expected better from a chair over $70 I’m extremely disappointed because otherwise, it was a little heavy, but was super comfortable and I really loved it. ... show more
