    • Amazing speaker for its size!
When I first tried this speaker with my phone using Bluetooth the sound was good, but not as loud as I was expecting. I was happy, but a little disappointed at the same time. Okay, so I decided to use the aux cord to connect to a computer and I immediately noticed that the volume can actually go higher using the aux cord connection and I mean a lot higher than my phone volume. So the next thing I did was to try on the TV using a aux from the TV plugged to a Bluetooth device and then paired the Bluetooth device to the speaker and it also sounded great with lots of volume. This type of connection provides two volumes the one from the speaker plus the one from TV. Let me explain, when using with your phone the volume you put in the phone is the only thing that goes up or down even if you move the volume from the speaker up or down it will actually move the volume from your phone as well. However when you do the Aux from either a PC or the TV like I mentioned above the volume from the speaker can be set at high and then you can start changing the volume from PC or TV at whatever you want giving you extra volume. I didn't use the PC or TV full volume because it was too much and probably will blow the speakers, but you can hear a big difference so it actually gets you the 180 peak watts as stated. So for those who may think the volume of this speaker is not as loud is because they are probably only using the phone volume which for iPhone the volume really sucks. The bass is adequate and depending on where you put the speaker you may hear it more or less so basically placement is key for better bass. Right out of the box, I noticed that the build quality of the T9-2 is excellent. Personally, I'm a big fan of W-KING's new, sleeker design. It's just classier looking, in my opinion. But the sound quality is where this speaker really shines. I listen to probably fifty percent Classic Rock, with the other fifty percent comprised of Rap, Stax, Motown, and Country. I played everything on this speaker and there's nothing it can't handle. You can crank up the volume on this unit and you won't lose any sound quality. I even played some Classical music that has been languishing unplayed on my iPod for years. It sounded amazing. Classical is the only genre that I preferred the EQ set on outdoor mode. For everything else, I prefer to let the bass thump. And... this can't be overstated, thump it does. This thing is loud and clear. Couldn't be happier with the sound quality. Absolutely rocks. The Bluetooth works great. You also get a USB port, a Micro SD port, and my personal favorite, a 3.5mm auxiliary port, which seems to be missing from many speakers these days. I have an iPod Classic that I still use, and I appreciate being able to plug it in and play. Wherever you have your music stored, I think this speaker will play it, and play it well. The LED lights are cool looking, with several different settings and many different colors. They kind of put me in a musical trance, and I mean that in the best possible way. Also, they don't drain the battery like I thought they would. Overall, I love this speaker. Sure, you can pay more for a speaker. A lot more. But, why would you? This is a great sounding, well built speaker. You get a lot for a fair price. I also own the W-KING X10, (also a great speaker.) I have an event coming up, and needed a little more BOOM, and this one fits the bill perfectly. The only question now is should I buy another one to pair it with. Two of these would bring down the house. Might bring the cops to the house, too. Keep doing what you do, W-KING, cranking out quality speakers at a fair price. ... show more

This speaker booms. I bought it and compared it side by side with the Soundcore Neo 2, which cost about the same as a refurb. This speaker sounds superior. AND you can pair a second speaker, which I have not tried. (Note if you wanted to pair a bunch of Soundcore speakers, the Soundcore app supports that as well). I wish it supported a karaoke function.
