You pay for what you get. I paid $300 for this chair. That is an insane amount of money for a folding chair. The chair hold firmly together. I am nearly 300 lbs and I have no concern about this chair failing. It comes with a backpack bag. Getting the chair in the bag is not always quick and easy but once the chair is in the bag, it is easy to carry around. The chair has to locking systems to hold it firmly in place. The first, behind the chair's backing you press down and lock the back of the chair. The second, you press the arms down simultaneously and this locks the legs into place. To release, you pull up on the backing of the chair lock using the handle. To unlock the legs, you press the release buttons on the handles. It's pretty easy once you see it from a video or try it a few times. It has a holder for a drink which functions nicely for holding a phone too. The quality is high-end. This is an excellent chair. I did not want to spend so much on a chair but I figured, if it lasts 3x longer than cheaper ones, is super comfortable (doesn't sink in the seating), and will endure for years to come, then it's an investment I'm willing to make.
