I read the great reviews, as well as the not so great reviews. I personally think for the price, it’s great. It’s not plastic, nor is it battery operated. The decorative wreaths around the candles can be removed if that isn’t your thing. It gives off a warm white light - perfect to display on my window sill, while giving a lovely glow to our living room. Perhaps I received a later model — I see zero reasons not to give it 5 stars for the price. An authentic version is very difficult to find in NYC. I am happy. ... show more

I have been wanting one of these for my windows for years. I did read the description, I knew it was plastic. I did not realize the plastic would be so flimsy and cheap looking. If these were $15 apiece, I could justify it, but at this price, they should be much sturdier. There is a rating about suction power, but there is no suction power, simply black pieces of a type of fabric, nothing to really hold the item in place. The screw to open up the battery compartment is so small, I had to get a special screwdriver to get it open, and even that was a chore because the screw itself is so cheap, it stripped. Also, this thing is incredibly crooked. The one positive I do have is from far away, they look good, but as soon as you get close to them, they just look cheap. I bought 2 of these because I was missing ones that I had while living in Sweden - they are much cuter and better quality than I was expecting! Really nice to have battery operated too, and not worry about plugging it in anywhere. I would definitely buy again.

I’m used to better material for that price, half that price and I get decent quality anywhere but I’m desperate to find one where I’m at. But if you don’t get too close it’s good. 2 of the candles are just enough uneven and leaning and the glue used to put them in place are all over the thing. Right size, right ( bit thick and plastic feel ) color and cosy shine, 2 stars. Love the usb thing so that gave it an extra star. I’m desperate for something like this and hot no other choice at the moment. If you’re not and can wait, don’t buy it. ... show more

Saw these candelabras on a Swedish show; a Christmas decoration for your indoor window seals. They are so festive we bought two. They are battery operated so no worries about where to plug in. Also, they give out a warm light instead of harsh white.
