I love this bassinet with the quality and size that it is, but it does have a few quirks that I'm not crazy about, but overall I felt it only needed 1 star deducted . *The bassinet comes in a bag for storage and travel which is important as much as we travel. A huge plus to me is that it has 2 adjustable straps to keep all the pieces together so it's easier to get in and out of the bag. Such a minor detail, but it really does make things easier! *There are only 3 bars that need attached to complete the frame assembly, so it's fairly simple...except, those bars are so difficult to get into their intended spots. We fought for a while to get them inserted. Once all inserted it is very stable, attractive and well made. *The mattress is at least an inch thick, in a soft quilted fabric. Much better than others that are basically just a fabric lined piece of board for baby to sleep on. The fabric and mesh sides are not cheap material either, and all slightly padded. Plus the bed itself is deeper than some others I've seen so it can technically be used a little longer. *The side buttons to adjust the height, or create an incline, are a 2 step button that takes a little more thought to get used to, but I love that safety feature so my bigger kids can't walk up and play with the height. *When it comes to disassembling the bassinet, we go back to the top where I mention how hard it was to get the bars inserted where they go. They were just as hard to get out! The silver spring pegs to release the bars are nearly flat. I had to find a small tool to push into the hole to get them to release. If they are intended to be that flat, then a tool should be included for that. So aside from the bar insertion, and removal from the frame, I really like this bassinet and feel it is definitely worth the purchase. Would make a wonderful baby shower gift that you could feel good about giving, and mom is guaranteed to love! ... show more

This was a great find for this new mom, but it's also my first bassinet/baby bed/anything like this, so I have nothing I have personally used to compare it to. Set up was easier than I expected, thought it did take me about half an hour to feel like I was done. (Paranoid triple-checking over here). I put a 30 pound kettlebell in it before I used it, and it held up fine. See, paranoid mew mom stuff again...lol Adjusting it is really easy, and I love that the locks are a "push in and pull" system, making it feel secure. It is breathable netting all round, and the material is easy to clean. I love that it has wheels, and so far they haven't caught or stalled while moving it from room to room. The basket is pretty big and holds a fair amount of things, too. I have diaper changing things and a pump down there most of the time. And a cat...which is why I'm glad it's an easy material to clean. It does come with a travel bag, and though it's not too hard to assemble, I don't see me taking it anywhere unless I really had to. But it's nice to have the option. I have not tried it on co-sleep mode, because it won't fit on my bed, but I love the idea and that it's able to do that. Overall, I think this Bassinet/Bedside Crib is great for us. -Easily adjustable -The locks feel secure -Easy to clean -Breathable and safe feeling -Moves around with no problem, but stays put and stands sturdy (I've bumped it and ran into it a couple times with no tipping, and no baby inside, thank goodness) -Makes a paranoid mom feel better ... show more

I needed something for when my niece visits with her 3 month old & this is perfect. It fits nicely next to the bed & is the perfect size. It easily opens up & folds closed. Great for everyday use or travel. It was relatively easy to put together & is extremely sturdy.
