I bought this set for my 7 year old granddaughter she uses it all the time. She even wants to help more in the kitchen and offers to fix lunch for her and her sister. The knives cut most veggies and fruits easily. She cuts cheese and some meats too. These are great for teaching knife safety and how to use them properly. I bought this set as a gift. It's as described and nice, but the presentation stinks! It literally is packaged in a clear plastic bag with a black and white sticker on it. No box, no explanation of what the set is for, and certainly no colorful picture of kids using it. I suppose the poor packaging doesn't matter in the long-term as the child enjoys the product, but it sure doesn't make for an initially exciting gift. ... show more
